The Voting Results Are In!

Michael Webkinz here with the official voting results… The Webkinz Newz community has chosen the Painted Glass room theme as the next theme they’d like to be released in the W-Shop. I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to vote. It wasn’t an easy choice this time around!

The painted Glass room theme will be released in the W-Shop on May 8th, but we will be posting special updates on Webkinz Newz as this theme is being created, allowing you to leave feedback and let us know what you like (or don’t like) about each item. I plan on showing the first set of concepts on March 23rd… stay tuned!

In the meantime, please let us know what type of items you’d like to see included in this theme by leaving a comment below…

painted stained glass windows would be nice and instead of a regular living room chair a chaise lounger just to be different

This was my second favorite theme so I’m not disappointed. I hope it’s not as expensive as the Garden Oasis.

**Counters!** New counters, fridge, and stove. Round or oval tables and round side tables. It would be really nice to see the curve of the chair continue with an oval or round table.

It would be so great to see a Chihuly inspired light fixture or piece of art to display with this theme!

I’d love to see a bookshelf and some storage items (maybe a coffee table with storage inside!)

There’s no reason a painted glass item should be monochromatic. So, I would love to see a side table and/or room divider with a beautifully painted motif. I’d love to see a “hand-blown” chandelier a la Dale Chihuly. I’d love to see a free-floating wall art piece (ei – unframed). If your pieces are going to be ultra modern, temper them with touches of natural elements (such as aged cedar). I’d love to see top-and-bottom kitchen cupboards that are one colour on top, and a (different) complementary colour on the bottom. That’s all I can think of for now.

I think this has possibilities for a beautiful fireplace.

Oh, I’m so happy this was chosen! I can’t wait to mix and match with all the other themes. =D
