In the summer of 2010 we launched the Mazin’ Hamsters line of plush along with a Unity 3D section within Webkinz World. Players could build and explore mazes, journey through the Hamster Hamlet, participate in daily activities, and win prizes—including trophies that were awarded when you completed the mazes.
Unfortunately in the fall of 2015, once the Unity Web Player used to create Mazin’ Hamsters was no longer supported by web browsers, it had to be shut down.
You can still find hamster as virtual pets in Webkinz World or at the Ganz eStore, and if you’re lucky, you might just find someone willing to trade one of these amazing trophies in the Clubhouse.

One of my friends played Webkinz a lot because there was mazin hamsters, now she doesn’t play at all. I really miss it. I really liked the room theme and I never knew there were this many trophies!!!

I have a lot of these. I’m not sure how many. I miss Mazin Hamsters, especially the room theme. I had been in the process of acquiring the pieces and now its left unfinished.
I loved the Mazin Hamsters and bought a number of them. They ceased to be fun and amusing the day I logged on and I found that I had 6 of them put in the game as pets without my say, my wish or my want and this point, I have 6 hamster pets which are never gotten up. :-(
What do you mean by “put in the game as pets”? The Mazin Hamsters were always pets, and having one as a pet didn’t mean you couldn’t use it in the game.

I miss this so much! I try to go out of my way to find all the old Hamster items, including saving my wish tokens for the 100 token window. I wish there was some way you guys could bring it back. Please put your awesome ideas together, to bring this amazing game back. -River
Oh, I’m still sad about Mazin’ Hamsters being shut down. We have some of the trophies on another account; but, sadly, I have none of my own. If I could have only one wish for Webkinz World, it would be to revive Mazin’ Hamsters. Webkinz is still fun, though; I just really miss Mazin’ Hamsters. You made it too much fun, Ganz! Lol.
Mazin’ Hamsters looks really fun! I saw an old video of it recently; it made me wish it were still around. I didn’t get hamsters until after this was shut down. You’re getting Webkinz to work without flash; could you please try to make Mazin’ Hamsters work without Unity and bring it back? Thank you!
Agreed, I would like to see it be brought back. It was quite possibly one of my favorite parts of Webkinz World!
