Continuing our series about some of the most difficult-to-find items in Webkinz World, here’s a look at some very special trophies!
Many of these trophies were only ever given out once or twice for contests that were run in the early days. Here’s how each of these were originally awarded:
- Crafty Critterz Trophy – Awarded to a player whose craft suggestion was used on our (now-removed) Crafty Critterz posts
- Director’s Chair – Awarded to the winners of the Movie Studio contest (you can still see the winning entries on any Webkinz TV!)
- Master Chef Trophy – Awarded for winning a Secret Recipe design contest
- Member of the Day Trophy – Awarded each day to a player who has set up a My Page profile (you can still win this!)
- Room Design Trophy (Paint Roller) – Awarded for winning a room design contest
- Room Design Trophy (Wallpaper and Scissors) – Awarded for winning a room design contest
- Writing Trophy (Glasses) – Awarded for winning a writing contest
- Writing Trophy (Book) – Awarded for winning a writing contest
- Writing Trophy (Inkwell) – Awarded for winning a writing contest
- Writing Trophy (Typewriter) – Awarded for winning a writing contest

Why did they remove the Crafty Critterz? It sounds fun! :( And the member of the day has been some cat named Cupcake for months… :?
The Member of the Day Trophy is really not awarded anymore, unless PUF with Cupcake has won like a million. Member of the Day hasn’t been updated in a really, really long time..

Just a question for Ganz, For the Member of the Day Trophy It says “you can still win this!” How come a new member haven’t been picked in a while? PUF with Cupcake seems to be the only member of the day…

Does anyone know why there wasn’t an Earth day celebration this year?

Ganz decided not to have it since it would cause to much confusion as Easter and Webkinz Day are so close anyway. It wasn’t really a major holiday. They might bring it back in the future. I heard something about Earth Day in the eStore from somewhere so they probably have it sort of.

I wonder what it is also. I have only been around since 2011 so i probably missed all of the writing contests. I wonder if there will ever be more.
I also would like to enter a writing contest. I am a big writer and want to be an author when I grow up.

You need to make a correction. The MASTER CHEF Trophy was awarded for winning a recipe DESIGN contest not for solving a recipe. The trophy awarded for solving a recipe is called The SECRET CHEF TROPHY. They look completely different. :)

I thought the Master Chef Trophy looked different.
The Secret Chef Trophy also can NOT be traded.

Me too. I am a huge trophy collector, and I do not have any of these.
I have the Writing Trophy (glasses) one only for other ultimate collector’s items.
I wish I could still win some of these. I am a BIG trophy collector. You should bring back the Crafty Critterz and a movie studio contest so we can try to win those trophies. Are any of these trophies tradeable?
All of the trophies can be sent in kinzpost and traded. It’s worth noting, though, that all of the Rare Writing Trophies, the Room Design Paint Roller Trophy, and the Director’s Chair were duplicated and handed out for nothing in the Clubhouse this Winter, so aren’t worth near as much as they once were.
The Director’s Chair seems rare still though. I rarely see it.

I don’t think all of those were handed out for free. At least not the chair.

Plumpy chair is cool, it might have used to count as an ultimate collector’s item, but now that they give it away in a challenge, it probably doesn’t. :(

@Jesusismylord830 I don’t think it was ever considered as one, its from trading cards. Ultimate Collectors items usually mean things that were Long Retired or Very Hard to find due to scarcity.
