Hello there, it’s me again—your outgoing mayor, Dr. Quack! As one of my last duties for my term, I’m pleased to tell you about all the new and exciting things we have planned in Webkinz Classic for the last few weeks of 2022, into 2023! Let’s have a look, shall we?
- Starting TODAY, Wednesday, December 14th, Ms. Birdy will start appearing in SantaKinz’s Clubhouse room and giving out a daily prize as part of her annual Countdown to Christmas! Running until Christmas Day– Sunday, December 25th, there are 12 terrific prizes to be collected! And if you miss a day, you can always go back and pick up an item using eStore Points!
- Christmas is right around the corner! Make sure when you visit Ms. Birdy, you also line up for SantaKinz to pick which gift you want to receive on Christmas Day!
- Our next Player Appreciation Day on Webkinz Classic AND Webkinz Next is on Sunday, December 24th! On that day, log in to your Webkinz Classic account on the desktop app and then visit the Today’s Activities schedule to click on and receive your special prize for December: some Gingerbread Wings! On Webkinz Next, look for the prize notification in your Message Center at the top right corner of the screen. PLEASE NOTE: This prize CANNOT be sent, sold, and traded on Webkinz Classic.
- Starting on Christmas and running until the end of December, we’re running a Deluxe FREE Preview! Free and Full Members will have a whole week to experience many of the fun features that our Deluxe Members get to enjoy every day!
- Also on Christmas Day, visit the Today’s Activities schedule on the Webkinz Classic desktop app for a spin of the Super Wheel! There are lots of holiday themed prizes that you can win!
- Hey, arcade enthusiasts! We are running an Eager Beaver Arcade Challenge from Monday, December 26th, until Sunday, January 8th! Complete all the tasks before midnight, EST on January 8th, and you’ll win a Fruit Slushie, along with a Roller Coaster Couch! And best of all—ANY player can complete this challenge during the upcoming Deluxe Free Preview Week!
- Our 2023 Winterfest event runs from Sunday, January 1st until Sunday, January 15th! Look for floating snowflakes on Webkinz Classic to click on and receive something special to celebrate the winter season!
- Also starting in January, you’ll be able to get 2023 Winterfest Cookie packs from the Ganz eStore, or from the WShop for eStore Points! Once you open the packs, you can feed the cookies to your pets to win some wonderful past Winterfest prizes, including a chance at this year’s GRAND PRIZE: a Winterfest Food Truck Dispenser!
- The January Employee of the Month challenge starts on SUNDAY, JANUARY 1ST! If you complete all the tasks before the end of January, you’ll receive a Ms. Birdy’s Tchotchke Shelf to put up on the wall next to your NEW Framed Beach Day Photo!!
- In January, Deluxe Members will receive their monthly gift box containing a Deluxe Medallion Gift Box filled with pet medallions, a Retro Rainbow Theme Gift Box which you can use to choose an item from the Retro Rainbow room theme, a Wish Token—and of course—the month’s special clothing prize: some Aurora Heels!
- The Deluxe monthly challenge for January starts on SUNDAY, JANUARY 1ST! If Deluxe Members complete all the tasks before the end of January, they’ll receive a Color Storm Tankini Top and bottom that your pet can wear while relaxing in their NEW Hot Tub Gazebo!
- If you’ve adopted a Baby Raccoon from the Ganz eStore, collect a Winter Raccoon ?? Box from the Today’s Activities schedule (Webkinz Classic desktop app only) on Saturday, January 14th and Sunday, January 15th! Inside you’ll find something special from the Winter Raccoon theme!
- We are also running another Shopping SPREE event from January 16th until January 24th! Log in to your Webkinz Classic account each day across any platform to receive cool clothing prizes from previous collection lines! It’s a great way to add some more awesome outfits for your pets!
- We are also running another Bake Sale 1 event in the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park starting TODAY. The Bake Sale 1 Stand will continue to appear whenever there are no other events on in the Kinzville Park until January 17th! Visit the Kinzville Park each day to look for the stand each day and if you see it, click on it to get your gift box. Inside you’ll find a random baked good which you can either feed to your pet, or you can use it in a stove recipe to create a special prize! You can find all the recipes in the Bake Sale 1 Cookbook, available in the “Books” section of the WShop, under “Fun Stuff”.
- Once again, we’ve updated the prizes on our daily wheels! Check out everything you can win on the Wheel of Wow, the mobile Wheel of Wow, the Wheel of Deluxe, and the Vacation Wheel!

I’m having a lot of trouble staying logged in on Webkinz Classic. I keep getting error messages and then getting kicked out. Please fix this soon!
Webkinz, I think that this update made my account glitchy, every time I try to buy something in the W-Shop, it kicks me out of the game, and then when I log back in, it says that is a non-clothing item. Please let me know what is happening. Frozenelsa5
Not sure what to do to clear cache on classic but since the update installed I can’t open the game at all.
Finally found how to clear cache on the desktop, that didn’t work. Had to find the download to totally reinstall again – there should be links here for the downloads.
Once again, mind blown! Way to go out on a high note Mayor Dr. Quack! There are so many wonderful things to look forward to in WW. Ms. Birdy’s Advent calendar gifts are always one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season in WW. Those gingerbread wings are beautiful, and I know exactly which pet gets to wear them on my main Classic account. The deluxe preview is such a nice holiday gift, and I am happy for all of the players who get an opportunity to get discounts and complete challenges during that week. Speaking of challenges, I LOVE Eager Beaver, and that prize is sweet! Is the roller coaster car (couch?) just like the one we recently received in Next? I missed most of Winterfest last year because I was sick in hospital. I am hoping and praying that this year will be way different! I wonder what job is the January employee of the month? Usually I can tell by the prize, but this time I’m stumped. I totally want that Hot Tub Gazebo irl! LOL! I can’t wait for the shopping spree event because I don’t think I’ve seen that sweater before, and I look forward to snapping one up. I didn’t know that there was a new baby racoon. Raccoons are special to me because of the great memory I have of the one who stole my fish right off my line while I was fishing with my grandpop. I thought it was adorable, and named it Daisy. My grandpop was equal parts amused and disgusted because we just lost dinner. LOL! He quickly discovered that fishing with a granddaughter is way different than fishing with his grandsons! LOL!
Webkinz Classic is glitching badly. I could not get into one of my rooms, it kept throwing me to the news page. When I did finally get into the room, it suddenly closed me out of Webkinz and I cannot get back in. I have tried numerous times and as the game starts to load I receive a message that my pet cannot wear a non-clothing item. I have never tried to get a pet to wear a non-clothing item. I am super upset because I enjoy this game and over the years have spent a small fortune. I do not want to be locked out now and I don’t want to miss all of the fun Christmas items. I have a very limited amount of time I can be on each day and today, I could not even do my daily activities or visit the clubhouse. Please fix this issue.
ADSLO1 it’s your friend caseyspacey, i’m feeling the same way about the glitch and hope GANZ fixes this. I managed to fight through this glitch and today’s prize from Ms. Birdy. Wish you all the luck trying to get through this.

@ADSLO1, you are not alone! I logged on to my Webkinz Classic account like normal this morning, but now (7:42PM), I tried to log on and could not get on. I restarted my computer twice and still no luck. GANZ/TEAM WEBKINZ, please PLEASE fix these issues on the desk top Webkinz Classic! I can get on my Webkinz Mobile app with no issues (both android phone and iPad). It’s nice that I can at least get on my mobile Webkinz, but can NOT do any Club House or Daily Activities, or much of anything else when using Webkinz Mobile! Just WHAT is the point of Webkinz Mobile if we can only do a few things? Please update Webkinz Mobile to include The Club House Room and The Kinzville Park, at least! I can’t afford to buy so many ePoints to get the items I will be missing during the Countdown To Christmas! I’m getting tired of spending REAL money on a game that has so many glitches and apparently can’t fix items that used to work! This is not a “my computer” problem, or a “clear your cache” problem, or even a “reboot your computer” problem. This is an issue that your Tech people need to work on and fix! I love playing this game. I don’t even mind spending money on “virtual” items. Like ADSLO1, I don’t want to be locked out of my game and miss out on all the fun Christmas items either! PLEASE help! Thank you! :-)
Unfortunately, I’ve been having the same issues since the new update. It’s very frustrating to get logged out over and over again. I hope Webkinz is able to fix these issues soon!
I had the same problem on friday, had to log back in 27 times, but since Saturday, everything seems to be fine for me.
quite often when I zone or try to play a game I get a message that my pet can’t wear non clothing items and then I get booted from the game and have to log in again. this is getting really old really fast anyone else having this problem

Did they discontinue giving material boxes in Webkinz Next from the Material Machine in front of the mines? It is not working today on either of the two accounts I do daily.
