Silver Bells – especially love the idea of ‘musical bells’ playing “Silver Bells”. I love all the instruments – thanks Ganz for making music part of Webkinz.

Voted for the Cottage Solstice, distinctive and original.

How come there are no Jewish options? Chanukah is a holiday too and it deserves more than a Menorah each year. How about a Blue and Silver Holiday theme with the Jewish Star represented in a nice way. A Dreidel can be portrayed as a toy or on the furniture, Matzoh Ball Soup can be the food of choice. There are many things that can be done for our Jewish families and webkinz.

What an excellent idea Santo123. You should consider entering this contest next year, if you decide to enter and hopefully get picked as one of the finalist I’ll be sure to vote for you.

I was thinking the same thing! I was looking through all the past holiday items to see if there were any other religions represented ever. I think it would be even better if instead of Hannukah, there was representation for some Jewish holidays that are more important like Rosh Hashanah. Rosh Hashanah is an important holiday and has lots of symbolism to draw from to make items and themes. Passover is another important holiday with lots of symbols and things to inspire items. Hannukah, however, is a rather unimportant holiday in Judaism. It is only well known because it happens alongside Christmas time, and since Christmas is an important holiday in Christianity, many assume that Hannukah is also important, but the truth is it really isn’t. I think it would be super cool and inclusive to make items for holiday like Rosh Hashanah or Passover instead! I also think it would be great to include other religions’ holidays, like Islam, or Hinduism, or Buddhism. If anyone who practices these religions has any ideas you should definitely leave some below! Even if Webkinz doesn’t read it, I would love to hear and learn about your holidays!! :)

I hope the Cottage Solstice gets enough votes to win. Love the concept of folk art in combination with the winter solstice. This one is very cute and distinctive among all those great entries.
