Big news! We had an enthusiastic response to the ten finalists in our Wallpaper & Flooring contest. All of the submissions were fantastic – as always we are blown away by the talented Webkinz community!
We looked at your comments and discussed it among the Creative and Art teams and we are excited to announce the three winners which will be made into wallpaper and flooring in Webkinz World! Two of these wallpapers and floorings will be available at Ganz eStore later in the year, but one is going to be sold for Kinzcash. Which one? Watch Webkinz Newz for more info!

The Observatory should be available for Kinzcash.
I’ll be disappointed if it’s the loft, though, since the Observatory is my favorite.
The Observatory is the most beautiful. I know the loft looks the least “eStore” of the three, but I really hope the Observatory has a chance at being our new W Shop wallpaper. Even the Ocean Outlook would be awesome.

I understand that Ganz needs to make their money but there are already all kinds of wallpapers and flooring for estore. while there are very little wallpapers and flooring for Kinzcash. I’ve been playing webkinz for going four years now and this is the first time I have seen or heard of a new wallpaper or flooring being put on sale for kinzcash . {New themes not included}
Please make the observatory available for Kinzcash!

Really, really hope the loft is available for kinzcash. I’d use it in a TON of rooms, but will not be purchasing it if it is an eStore item. I think it’s kind of not great to take someone’s designs and sell them when the original contest didn’t really make it clear that two of the designs would be sold for real money
I can’t wait to see which one we get for the Kinzcash walls. Any one of them would be an awesome room to work with. I will say, though, I really like the Loft. Either way, that one will be in my collection. Thank goodness we get those extra points every month from Deluxe membership. I have a while to save for it. Great work, everyone who contributed. They were all really unique ideas and I wished all of them could have been new papers. Please host another contest like this next year. I am sure many people now have other great ideas from the ones we got to vote on.
It’s sad that only one will be available for kinz cash, but I hope it will be the observatory.
