The Onyx Monkey and Maltese Puppy are the newest pets to arrive in Webkinz World so we thought it’d be fun to show the concept drawings for their adoption gifts!
Concepts drawings are created by a 2D artist. These drawings act as a visual guide that a 3D artist can use when they create the final items to be used in game.
Check out the Banana Split Kabab and the Jungle Climber, the adoption gifts belonging to the Onyx Monkey. That kebab looks delicious:
Now here’s a look at the Maltese Puppy’s adoption gifts (Mini Maltese Marshmallows and the Ball Pit Slide). It looks like all 7 colors of the rainbow were added to the slide after the concept drawing was made:

I love concept drawings they are all amazing…..as far as favorites….hmmm they are all too cool to pick, every time I see a new one I think it is the best until the next new one…yes and I hope that monkey gets to climb

My favorite PSI and PSF? That’s really hard to pick…my favorite PSF is the Black Friesian’s, and my favorite PSI is the Wintermint Husky’s. ~Horsegirl~

I think so to. My favorite of both PSI and PSF, is the Tigerlily Pup. I think I enjoy seeing beds, outdoor gardens/fountains, and garden plants for PSI. For PSF I love seeing anything creative, and I think the pancakes and cupcakes are super yummy looking. I can’t wait to see more great ideas!!! (:
I agree totes! The ball pit looks too busy in virtual and the jungle gym is too perfectly straight. Still very cool gifts. I wish I could get the monkey. :)
I LOVE the jungle gym! I wonder if the monkey swings from the bars?! So cute! I love both of these PSI’s they started to get boring, but these ones sure aren’t! Add me (13Ella13) if you want a friend to get flowers from and send them to!
I LOVE the Jungle Gym as well. It would be awesome if they made another monkey that looked like the Onyx Monkey, but instead of black fur it had orange fur. :) Pittiesrule
These are really cool! The concept drawing artists do a good job! It’s hard for me to pick a favorite PSI and PSF since all of the pet PSI’s and PSF’s are pretty cool, but here are my favorites if I had had to pick just one: Favorite PSI- Either the Starry Stable (comes with mystical pony) or the Wild Game Gourmet BBQ (comes with Signature Endangered tiger). Favorite PSF- Either the yorkie’s PSF (the cotton candy) or the White tiger’s PSF (the steak).
I can’t really think of one PSF or PSI either. I really like the Ball Pit Slide for the Maltese Puppy and the PSI for the Teacup Yorkie and Decade Dragon. I can’t think of many PSFs though. Maybe the Decadent Cupcake?

My favorite PSI just so happens to be a hard one to find now. It’s the retired Ginger Cat’s Baker’s Oven, an old-fashioned two-by-one brass oven with a gingerbread house cooking on one half. There’s a stovetop on the other half, and a pipe, and there are two glass oven doors. On the bottom of the other half are three sort of cabinet doors. It’s really cool, but sadly I sold it.

Yeah, it’s pretty hard to choose just ONE but if i had too… i guess the signature white tiger’s psi is pretty cool and the tye dyed frog’s psf is cute :D

I love that one! I used it for my Cafe room, and it fits in really well. My favorite PSI’s tend to be the beds, since it means that I don’t have to go to the W-Shop to buy one for them. :P Joking aside, my actual favorite PSI would have to be either the Raccoon’s trash can fridge since it’s really funny (and totally something that my messy Jazzy would eat out of) or the Black Bear’s cave bed since it’s so adorable.

I think the concept drawing for the Mini Maltese Marahmallows look a lot cuter than they actually came out to be.

I think so too! The other one is kinda creepy to me but the other one is so cute. I love seeing PSI PSF very much, they are true to the design, good job! My favorite PSI the blonde Cockapoo dog, Summer Watering Hole, and signature calico cat cat’s meow garden, Orca breaching orca fountain and for PSF cheeky bunny carrot cake cupcakes, red fawn red velvet pancakes, rose lion flower tart, black Frisian horseshoe huckleberry hotcakes. There are so many great PSI and PSF! (:

These are awesome drawings ganz! I wish I could draw like that! Course I don’t mean to brag but I must say I specialize in stick people! Lol:P
Oh and my favourite psi is definitely a fountain. Idk why but I LOVE (emphasis on love) fountains. Probably the signature calico cat’s but I really just love fountains.
