Webkinz Close Up: Webkinz Day Group Prints!

We celebrated our 14th Webkinz Day this past Monday, April 29th, 2019!

If you logged in to your Webkinz account (on either web or mobile) on Monday—just like in all of the previous years—you were awarded a very special gift box. Inside was a piece of cake, a trophy, and a group print, all celebrating our 14th anniversary. You can get a closer look at all of those items in our Webkinz Day sneak peek story here.

There’s actually quite a lot of detail that goes into creating our Webkinz Day Group Prints. In the beginning, they featured each of the pets which were released during that year. Over the years, some of the group prints strayed a little from this idea, but more recently we’ve seen a return to the original spirit.

Here now is a close up look at each of our Webkinz Day Group Prints:

Sadly, next year will only show eStore pets. :(

So much nostalgia here, especially with the year 3 and 4 prints. It’s weird that they have a bunch of repeat pets in the year 7-12 prints, it’s cool to see the new pets that were released that year and not a bunch of old ones.

During the time around the Year 10 celebration, I remember there was a daily wheel spin that had the cake slices from past years. Since next year will be Year 15, I would love to have a similar opportunity to win or earn past trophies and group prints – bbiiiigg hint ;-)

Is there any way we can get those that we missed besides trading? I don’t do trading or kinzpost. It would be nice to collect all of them.

I’m afraid it’s going to be very hard to get older holiday items without trading for them, or having people send them to you. I got the year 6 print from trading, and that’s the only Webkinz day item I’ve got that I haven’t collected on Webkinz Day. :( I missed quite a few.

What pet is in the very top left corner of the year 2 group print? I haven’t seen that one before.

I’d love to know why the Rockerz pets were never included in these pictures. I think it’s a really cool record of when I got my pets.

I see the Rockerz Cat on the bottom left of 11.

Wow! I was just talking about this and wondering about the exact thing that you mentioned in your article. I wanted to know if the pets in the prints were the ones that had been released that calendar year. It looks like you went off the rails between year 6 and year 7, but returned to the track by year 13. I’m glad that you went back to that format. It makes the print even more special and meaningful!

    • Beckinz8 says:

What year DID the Rockerz pets come out because I don’t see them either?

  7. Kamots55 says:

Year five is my favorite. Because Signatures.

I am so glad that you decided to make these yearly Group Prints so we can see the additions each year. I don’t have all of the group photos as keeping my dock limited or making cash at one time were priorities over keeping them. I think making a new feature called something like Spin the Wheel of Yesteryear when items like these Group Prints could be won. I for one would be ecstatic! I am amazed at the photographer for getting all those pets looking their best. Are all the pets here?

Oh, my goodness! A Wheel of Yesteryear! That is a fantastic name for it! I would love to be able to get the Year 2 print as I was not playing yet and the White Persian is in the front row. I started with a Li’l Kinz version of the White Persian that put me in mind of a favorite childhood toy.

Thank you so much for showing us this gallery of group prints! I really enjoyed seeing each picture up close and I had a lot of fun taking the time to really study the details of each one and find all my pets. :-)
