Webkinz day is on a Sunday if I am correct…and unfortunately that means for this Webkinz day…I’m going to be restricted to mobile because my little sister is one of those people who judges adults for playing games designed for kids and I can only be on the browser version of webkinz when she isn’t home.

    • Luckycharm says:

If I were you I’d still play anyways, people are always thinking that “I’m an adult so I shouldn’t be playing with this or that!” Does it say on packages or games that if your over a certain age that you can’t play, No. So have fun playing!!!

    • PennyOpera says:

Oh, I know what you mean! I will probably be miserable, too. Sunday means everyone is home for Sunday Dinner. Do you think it would be ok for me to go and just spin the Superwheel and get the log in prize, that is all I am asking for. But I know if I do, someone will inevitably say something. Yet … they can text and pull out their phones to go on Facebook at the kitchen table during dinner. I just don’t get it. Is it because we are having fun?

      • Beaglehounds says:

If I were you I’d do my Webkinz stuff early before people come for dinner. People are so judgemental & they shouldn’t be. Especially when they’re using cell phones at the table. My family wouldn’t allow that, ever!

      • kaye10 says:

….you must find a time to do it in private–really is no one else’s business, plus be strong in who you are & it just won’t matter what others may “think” if they find out & attempt to judge you for it–shame will be on them, not you :) good luck, k.

Yup. I think it is because we are having fun….I think it’s because we are a tight knit community that people outside of WW don’t seem to want to understand or embrace. I have a close friend who loves to play Webkinz. Like me, she is an adult—and her family is just….’not supportive’ at all, is a nice way of saying it. So, like many of those posting, my friend has to sneak around to log-on during times her family is around… And I just don’t understand this. WW is a wonderful, creative place to unwind, smile, and have some fun. PennyOpera and Nicthewerecatqueen: I definitely do think it is ok for you to log in to spin the Superwheel and get your prize. And even check on your pets if you want to do that. I agree with Luckycharm and kaye10 who said it’s “no one else’s business”, and encouraged in her post, to “be strong in who you are”. I hope things go well for you both on Sunday, please post and let us know how things turned out.

LOVE this discussion about adults doing Webkinz! Everybody knows I enjoy Webkinz as an adult. It’s just a relaxing hobby…adults still play video games, or do crossword puzzles… what’s the difference?

          • bear10201 says:

Well said bekahandcj. I love playing as an adult. My family gave me a hard time at first but they are getting better about it. It is not any different than adults playing other video games and such. I explained that their are people of all ages from kids to grandparents that play every day and enjoy it.

Yeah! I started my account when I was nine. Now I’m an adult, and I am an even more avid player!

The Webkinz Loot Bags are NOT worth 4000 points. Most of the prizes are already being given away free in WW and most of the other prizes aren’t worth 4000 points. Buyer beware.

    • kaye10 says:

yep, could not agree more! too bad!! -k.

    • PennyOpera says:

Actually, you’re right. The Loot bags aren’t worth 4000 KC, they are actually worth MORE. Zum Buddies are 6000 (reg) and 5000 (Deluxe). For the opportunity to get a Zum, those bags can be worth a lot more. The free one I opened had a Zum Buddy and an item from the 10 year Webkinz theme. I am happy with what I got and I think I would have been happy if I had paid 5000 eStore points for it, too. It all depends on where you are, I guess. Some people are getting really nice eStore items in their bags and THEY aren’t happy because they haven’t gotten Zums or Fairies. So, I think Ganz isn’t winning on this one. Seems not a lot of people appreciate the Loot Bags, even if they are free :(

I feel badly for those who have not been pleased with the Webkinz Loot bags, because I enjoyed mine so much. I do agree that getting a Superfan item that is not among the rare Superfan items is a drag. However, I purchased three Webkinz Loot Bags a few weeks ago, (when E-Store first offered them), and I was thrilled with the gifts. I received very unique and fun items—one was a Pirates Ship–it’s interactive, so the pet can sit on it, or peek through it, and it also sways back and forth. I also received an adorable blue refrigerator with a plant on top if it–so cute. The other gifts from the Loots bags I received were just as nice. I think it’s hit or miss, but I also think it depends on what individuals like, for example: if a person didn’t like Pirate Ships, they probably wouldn’t have enjoyed the item as much as I did. I think for the price–4000 e-store points–it’s actually a really great buy. The only downside is that the items are not giftable, and I always like to share cool items with friends. But overall, I’m definitely pro-Webkinz Loot Bags, and for those who decide to purchase, keep an open mind. An item that might not look appealing at first, could turn out to be an item that looks fantastic in a new decorating project. To those who decide to purchase: have fun, and I hope you get amazing items!

    • kaye10 says:

no offense, but you must be a relatively new player–so glad you enjoyed!! best, k.

Animals Matter, its really funny that I had’nt read this before I posted my response to a user above. I feel the same as you and I am by no means a ‘new player.’ Like you, I am wholly satisfied with my ‘free’ gift and I would purchase another based on what I got. I like the Superfan items. I still get really excited if I win a bed or a Television when the Flying ‘W’ floats by. But then, maybe I am just a big kid at heart. Thanks for your positive post. ♥☺♥

      • animalsmatter1 says:

Hi PennyOpera, thanks; that’s so kind. I think I am definitely a big kid at heart, so yes….I get really excited about things, too…For example: I love the Mystery Prize on the Daily Activities; I just think it’s so neat–it’s a mystery!–I never know what I will find in my dock. And it’s always cool stuff, even if it’s an older item, because I think to myself, “Wow, this is cute, why didn’t I buy this at the W-Shop?” So something I might not have thought to buy or collect, turns out to be an item I enjoy trying to build a room around, or work into an existing room. It keeps me thinking and challenges me to be more creative. The way I figure it, in the ‘real’ world’, no one’s giving me ‘mystery prizes’, or ‘free food’, or a Big Button of Kinzcash! So, when I come to WW, and to my WKN friends, and the lovely town of Kinzville—I’m pretty darn happy!

Just an FYI, I keep getting 502 Bad Gateway errors when loading the home page and various others on this site. Not sure if it’s a bad server, bad gateway proxy, or what…

  9. MyLittlePony2010EG13 says:

Hi, tomorrow is the last day of WKN week. Is there a way to get Sally, Steve, Mandy, and Michael’s signed posters? My sister has Steve’s because she saw him in the reading room, and my mom got Mandy’s from the WKN room, and I didn’t get any from anywhere. I saw Steve, but he didn’t give me a poster. On the last day, will there be a giveaway of free SIGNED Webkinz Newz team posters? If so, I really want one!
