Webkinz Newz Week starts today, and will run until midnight, Tuesday, April 28, on Webkinz Classic. And this year, there are several Newz Vlogger prizes that you can win during this event!
Look for the Newz Week Challenge icon on Webkinz Classic (desktop or browser version only). It will be displayed along the left side of your screen:
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, Tuesday, April 28 (EST), to finish the Webkinz Newz Week Challenge:
- Collect a gift from Ella McWoof in the Webkinz Newz Room at the Clubhouse, then add it to your pet’s room!
- Collect 5 cans of floating Fizzy Newz Soda and feed them to your pet!
- Interview the Mayor of Kinzville! Head to the Curio Shop and purchase one of Arte’s favorite items!
To complete your first task, you’ll need to visit Ella McWoof in the Webkinz Newz Room at the Clubhouse.
Look for the link to the Webkinz Newz Room at the Clubhouse to visit Ella.
When you enter the room, you’ll see Ella blogging away at her desk, and you can click on her once a day to collect a gift! This year there are four different gifts to collect: A Newz Vlogger Light, Headphones, Camera, and a Webkinz Day 2026 Poster:
When you collect your gift from Ella, drag it into your room to pass your first task of the Webkinz Newz Week Challenge.
Next, you’ll need to feed your pet 5 cans of Fizzy Newz Soda.
From Wednesday, April 22, to Tuesday, April 28, look for floating cans of Fizzy Newz Soda on Webkinz Classic, and click on them to collect them (limited to 2 a day of free and full players, and 3 a day for Deluxe players).
Drag a can of Fizzy Newz Soda from your Dock, onto your pet, to feed your Webkinz. Remember, you’ll need to feed your pet 5 cans of Fizzy Newz Soda to complete your second task.
Finally, you’ll need to purchase one of Arte’s favorite items from the Curio Shop to complete the Newz Week Challenge.
Access the Curio Shop from the Things To Do menu and click the Go Shopping button. Click on each item and look for ones that feature the “Arte’s Favorite” icon. Arte changes his stock every hour so check back often!
When you find one of Arte’s favorites, click the Purchase Item button to buy it.
Players who manage to complete the Webkinz Newz Week Challenge by midnight, Tuesday, April 28, will win a Newz Vlogger Desk and chair:

I have been playing since I was 3 on my moms lap, 18 years it has been . I love it and love that mom still pays my deluxe. I think my dance classes and Webkinz have a lot to do with my learning experiences. Challenged me to learn, Math, reading, writing and history. WEBKINZ were my first teachers. In June, I will officially be a Webkinz player for 18 years! ***ALERT I only got credit for visiting Ella McWoof in the Clubhouse on one of my accounts. Even though I clicked on Ella and got an item from her on all my other accounts, I’m not getting credit toward the Webkinz Newz challenge. Please check into this, or I won’t be able to complete the challenge on any of my other accounts. :( Thanks!***
You have to add the item to your room to get credit. I also found that if you get the headphones, placing them on your pet also works. Good luck!
Have already completed the Webkinz Newz Week Challenge. Thank you for this fun simple challenge. The Newz Vlogger Desk and Chair are great prizes. Hoping that I will be able to collect the Newz Vlogger Light, Headphones, Camera, and Webkinz Day 2026 Poster from Ella McWoof. HINT! When feeding the cans of Fizzy Newz Soda make sure your pet is full, the pet’s hunger is at 100% you will still have the Soda when trying to feed it to your pet.

We are recreating the webkinz extravaganza at home on webkinz day this year <3 including a wheel and webkinz prizes…because my kids havnt been able to experience that like my siblings and I did yearsssss ago :)
