In my previous Newz story, I showed you the new Pet Care Heart and said that filling it would earn you more KinzCash and Family Score. But just WHAT is Family Score you ask?
Now, in my EXCLUSIVE SCOOP, here’s more information straight from the TOP SECRET documents!
Family Score is what you earn for playing with your family of pets all around Webkinz World! The more you play and do, the more Family Score you’ll earn! Your Family Score can only EVER go UP. You won’t ever lose Family Score.
As you earn Family Score, you’ll also win prizes! There are a whole bunch of exciting new prizes to be won for the many Family Score milestones!
By filling up Pet Care Hearts you will also earn BONUS KinzCash and Family Score! If you have multiple pets, you can get bonuses for filling up a maximum of 10 Pet Care Hearts each day.
Can’t wait to start earning Family Score? You already have! When the new and improved Webkinz.com launches this summer, current players will automatically earn Family Score for things like the number of pets adopted (up to 100 pets maximum), the number of years they’ve been playing, being a Deluxe Member, and more!
While some players will earn several milestone prizes right away, we have put maximum and daily limits on earning Family Score, so everyone will still have prizes to look forward to! We also plan to add new Family Score milestones and prizes in the future!
Want to know how your score compares? You can see other players’ scores in places like the Clubhouse, in your Friend Finder, and even in the Message Center!

This sounds so awesome! I LOVE the prizes!
I have over 20 pets on 1 account and 7 on the other ( my 1st got too crowded). I have been playing for 3 or 4 years on my first and not quite a year on my 2nd. The longest account in my family (not biggest though) is my sister at probably 6 or so years. Then I assist my 3 year old brother with his 5 pets. (These all include a decade dragon and other free pet(cat, ice fawn, marshmallow chipmunk.)) I can’t wait to see how these differances effect our family score. This is amazing.
SEE FREE pets have to count for something . I saw someone ask about VACATION ISLAND yesterday . WHEN we get the GHOST does this HEART METER get affected ? Thanks for helping another I help my grand children . :) >^..^<
The Pet Care Heart is not connected to Happiness/Hunger/Energy, and will never go down while you are playing with your pet, so seeing the ghost on Vacation Island will not affect your pet’s heart meter.

monkeyfun15 Do you remember earlier this year the DRESS they couldn’t decide the color of. My computer shows Steve’s highlighted print as a dark lavender or purple color A Hyacinth color purple is the flower it most resembles. Funny different computers shaded by the brightness and shade can change the color ;) so much .
Wow! This is awesome! I’ve been a player for about 7 years and have 101 webkinz! This makes it really worth it! I’m so happy this is something everyone can join in and have fun! Have a wonderful day everyone! :)
Oh geez… Haha! This is going to be my new obsession, like completeing all my challenges! (Speaking of, how will I ever beat them all if new ones appear after I finish one??!)
Took a few years on WEBKINZ FRIENDS to get the last prize but it was awesome just getting there !!
Me too! I’ve completed all my challenges! I’m a Deluxe member so I like that I get a new one each month, and I’m very happy when there’s a new one (especially the mega challenges)!
i wish we could do the deluxe challenges over and over like the hearts collection. sigh. :D
I am still reserving judgement for the simple fact, I have played on Webkinz via my cell phone and frankly was less than impressed with the “heart”. Having to feed them every minute or two cause the health/happiness/hunger meter slips away like money through a spendthrift’s fingers didn’t impress me one little bit. And while I like the notion of the prizes, I’m not fond of the notion of having to start all over again with somewhere between 60 and 70 pets especially when I’ve been playing for 7 yrs or so. So far, I’m rather dismayed by this new system. :-(
Davids1lilpixie, i think w 60-70 pets & 7 yrs membership, ur about to get a bundle of prizes. also, there’s some kind of glitch w the health meter right now so the score on it is really low. also, in WShop, when you buy stuff, your pet’s health and hunger plummet and sometimes it stays really low after you leave the shop.
This looks awesome! I just adopted my 100th pet and I’m a deluxe member who’s been playing for 8 years; I can’t wait to start getting all these amazing prizes! (I’m punk4life if anyone needs friends- I play several times a day every day.)
I think I’m the most excited for the Moon Pie Snack Machine! I use all my Deluxe points on food dispensers and candy trees. I like to sell the food back to the W-Shop or send it to my friends!

WOW! These prizes are awesome! I’m getting more and more excited about Webkinz X. One question though, it says we will earn extra points for number of adopted pets (100 max), does that mean that only the first 100 pets count or that only 100 can be adopted on one account? I have over 100 on my account – will anything happen to them? Thanks for continuing to make Webkinz extraordinary :D
You can adopt as many pets as you want onto one account, but only the first 100 pets will count toward your Family Score.

hi, Gennelle! i hope life’s treating you well! i was hoping you could change the txt color of your posts so it’ll be easier to find them, like Steve does. (hey! since you have the same last name, are you siblings?) i think a different txt color would help us to find/read your posts and eliminate at least some of the duplicate questions. thx! feeling pretty positive about webkinz x at this point. :D

I love that your comments are in pink so we can see it. I asked a ? about why my Zummies stopped at a hundred. I spent some of them to see if they would start back up but forgot to look today. I’m so eXcited about the new changes coming up. I’ve been with you along time and can’t wait to be REWARDED for it!! But also that my newest account will benefit just as much as my older ones..
