The Fantastic Snowman will be returning and the winter clothing line will be available after maintenance in January.
Here are the scheduled events for January:
- January 11: Last day of Season 19: Classic Christmas
- January 12: Gap day between Seasons
- January 13: Season 20 begins
- January 13-27: Winterfest
- January 20: Player Appreciation Day

When are the new family score prizes going to be added to Next? Also, we haven’t gotten any of the new player designed clothing (the cute dinosaur hoodie, strawberry overalls, froggy smock, the vest or the Victorian ball gown). When are we going to have those available?
Hi @minnottes. Actually, the fan designed clothing items are available in Classic in the KinzStyle shop under the ‘New’ category. Most are on page 2 ~ the froggy smock is 380 KC, the rainbow dinosaur hoodie hood (sold separately) is 150 KC, and the rainbow dinosaur hoodie top is 375 KC, the strawberry overalls are 425 KC, the lovely heart sweater vest is 385 KC, and the victorian ballgown (sold on page 3) is going for 500 KC. I hope this helps. I would love to know a time frame for the new family score prizes on Next too.
I know they’re in Classic already and have been for some time now but in the article where they showed the winners, they said Next was getting them too so I was wondering when us Next players were going to be able to purchase them.
Really?!? Could you link the original article? I don’t remember them saying that the fan-designed clothes were coming to both Classic AND Next. That would be interesting. I wonder if it is more difficult to model them in a more 3-D format?

I agree with others that have mentioned more than a 1 day break between seasons in Next would be greatly appreciated. I need more down time in between seasons just to be able to catch up my to-do list in real life.
I agree with having a little bit of down time between challenges on Next. I try to finish them a couple of days early so that I get more than a one day break.
I’m really excited to see fantastic snowman make its return to Next! But when it comes to that though, will the Cake Cookoff occur at the same time as Fantastic Snowman or does this mean that the Cake Cookoff will be on break for a bit?
I like Webkinz Next and have been a customer and player of Classic for going on 14 years now but, that said, as much as I do like Next, there are far too many challenges and not enough “down time” between them. A one day down time does not cut it and I don’t know about anyone else, but this player of going on 14 years, is getting a MASSIVE case of burn out on the challenges in Next.
Just another perspective. I personally like that there’s not a ton of downtime. Even though there’s a couple days I forgot to log in, I will still get all the prizes early. For the days without challenges I don’t have a ton of motivation to log in. I do wish there was more to do in next, but ganz has been great about regularly adding to the game so I’m sure that will change eventually. I actually experience burn out more often with classic because there’s just SO much.
I have been playing Webkinz for as long as you and my favorite part of Next is the challenges. Everyone is different.
I also love the challenges and usually have a week “downtime” between them as I purchase the Pass and finish a week early. One day off between challanges is enough for me. Also, I hope the kinzcash prizes are higher for the snowman, make it worth playing for. The old kinzcash prizes were like 200 kc if I remember correctly.
I have been playing Webkinz since 2009, also. I like the challenges on Next and wish there were actually more. I usually have the new weeks challenge done within two days, unless its includes 5 days to do something. Then I’m left counting the days until the new week starts. I wish Classic had more challenges than just the monthly ones.
I agree with you. It becomes stressful to keep up with and I eventually have to take a long hiatus from Next
