Awesome Wheel Prizes! I especially love the Stylish Snowman on the Wheel of Deluxe and the Alpine Evergreen Trees on the Webkinz Mobile App – The trees are perfect for decorating Winter-themed yards! Thanks so much :)

    • FennecFox says:

      Yep, they sure are!

      • doingmydailies says:

I love the trees too! I wish they weren’t only on Webkinz Mobile because I don’t have a phone or tablet that I could use Webkinz Mobile on. Oh well.

    • Hippoopi says:

I agree, these prizes are amazing and can’t wait to spin those wheels every day!

    • Fracktail says:

That Mocha Polka looks scrum-diddly-umptious! So does the cocoa, for that matter. I love putting candy-canes in tea and hot cocoa and stuff, it makes it taste minty and festive and stuff.

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Fracktail?! Wow, I haven’t seen on here for months!! It’s great to see you here on again! Yeah, that mocha polka looks good !!! *takes the mocha polka out of the screen and drinks it*

        • Fracktail says:

Hi, TaffyKitty! Thank you for saying hi! I’ve been pretty busy what with school projects and all, but I’ve finally decided to slowly come back. I’m probably not coming back to the Webkinz site any time soon though (it hardly works for me), but I love the community so here I am!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Your welcome! I almost couldn’t believe I saw you on here! I was just looking through the comments and I looked at yours and was like “huh. That’s odd. That person’s comment reminds of what Fracktail used to post.” I double checked the name and I almost though it was a misprint! I couldn’t believe it! But hey, it’s good to have you back! I know I haven’t really talked to you tons on here in the past, but I always remembered your hilarious posts and that one dogbeard thing. That was hilarious! And ever since then Dogbeard has been one of my favorite hosts. Oh, and yeah, times are certainly busy! I don’t get tons of chances to one WebKinz now. I just started high school late last year and wow, it’s not easy to find time to go on webkinz. Of course, part of it probably has to do with me being on here a lot. I’m almost on here more than my actual WW account! I guess you can say that I love to comment! And yeah, webkinz doesn’t work the best nowadays. It doesn’t even work on one of my computers. Thankfully it works on one of them, but it can be painfully slow sometimes, especially due to all of my pet requests. Webkinz X isn’t my favorite thing in the world, but some of the family score prizes are cool. The goober plush is really awesome! Too bad I can’t find a nice place to put it.. Well, anyhow, it’s good to see you back on here again, Fracktail!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

I meant to say “go on”, not “one” in that one sentence. Sorry!

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

Yeah with school going on it’s harder to find time now. I just started high school last year, too, TaffyKitty, and it takes up a lot of time. Sometimes I’ll comment on here so much that I almost forget to go on the actual webkinz site!

          • Fracktail says:

Haha, thank you!! I’m touched that you remembered me. It’s good to be back! And yeah, the Dogbeard thing was pretty awesome! Even Gennelle got in on that, it was hilarious! And yeah, Webkinz X isn’t my favorite thing in the whole wide world (fullscreen makes it hard to do things, and for some reason the Webkinz room is blurry so I can’t decorate), but the Family Score thing is awesome and I love it. The Goober plush is super-duper awesome too, I’m glad the dorky scientist finally got his own plushie! (Even though it’s only virtual. One day I’m going to learn to sew, and then it will be virtual no more! One day…)

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

WingsOfFreedom, yeah, I actually think I comment tons on here! To be honest, I think I actually do forget about going on webkinz sometimes cause I’m here on WKN so often. But, as busy as I have become, and even though in not able to go on my actual account as much, I still love the WKN community! And Fracktail, I’m really glad you came back! I know I’ve haven’t talk to you tons in the past, I’ve remembered you quite a bit. Oh, and yeah, that DogBeard thing was just awesome! Haha! That was funny!! And it was pretty cool how even Genelle jumped in! Speaking of which, I wish Gennelle was still here. :( I think she left or something. I didn’t listen to the last podkinz with her in it. And yep, the new webkinz doesn’t work the best for me either. It gets laggy and slow at times, so it’s honestly not the easiest thing to play. Well, at least some of the new prizes are pretty awesome. Especially that Goober plush! I wonder why they never made a plush of him earlier? If you ask me, Goober kind of underrated. Like Dogbeard in a way. Oh, and that would be so cool! I wish the hosts were all available I’m actual plush form.. But seeing one would be great! Eh, it’s a shame I don’t know how to sew cause there’s a lot of things I’d love to make… Like a zangoz plush

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

*sewing, not seeing. Sorry! Although, even seeing a goober plush is pretty awesome!

          • Fracktail says:

I know, all the best characters are underrated. Goober, Dogbeard, Fluffington, Booger, Plumpy…okay, so maybe I’m just rattling off my favorites list. But they need more love! I know this is a well-known fact by now but Goober is my favorite Webkinz host, kooky scientists are awesome no matter what and Goober is just so idiosyncratic, he dances to the beat of his own drum and doesn’t care who knows it. I love characters like that, where they can be goofy while still being genuine, a lot of characters nowadays are just weird for the sake of it. But Goober has his own ideas, he follows his passion and he’ll follow it to the end. Goober’s a good role model, is what I’m saying. Plus, I like his hat. And Dogbeard is awesome because he’s a pirate, and one of the first things you learn as a kid is that pirates are cool and fun to pretend to be. But Dogbeard doesn’t need to pretend to be a pirate, because he’s the real deal. Also, he’s a proud momma’s boy, which is nice because everyone should respect their parents, even pirates! And Dogbeard knows that, and that is why he is awesome. Really what I’m saying is, Webkinz characters are awesome and not used enough, I think. Also, I would totally buy plushies of Webkinz hosts, a Zangoz plush would be adorable!! I bet a Zangoz beanbag chair would also be pretty awesome, even though it’s extremely unlikely. (Please excuse my unnecessarily long post about Webkinz characters. Old habits die hard.) Oh, and Gennelle left :( It’s a shame, because she was such a great host and person. I miss her comments, I always liked it when she interacted with the fans. But everyone moves on, so that’s understandable. (Except for me. I give the illusion that I move on, but I always end up back here. At this point it’s like, “oh, Fracktail’s on ‘hiatus’ again. I wonder how many hours until she’s back.”) And I feel bad about not talking to you a lot, I used to add a bunch of comments all over the place but I only ever had a few “big” conversations, I guess. But I’m glad we’re talking now :D (even if it is just rambling on my part, but I’m pretty sure ‘rambling’ is just another word for ‘vocalizations made by the Fracktail’ in the first place)

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Yeah, it seems like a lot of great hosts are underrated. Plumpy, I haven’t heard a thing about her in forever. Fluffington, what happened to him? No one has talked about him in forever. Booger…. Nothing with him either. And of course Goober and Dogbeard. I personally that Goober is really cool! I love his unique dorky scientist personality! You don’t get that with a lot of hosts these days. What I’m saying is that some the hosts nowadays don’t really have a lot to their personalities. Goober’s one of the unique ones with a great backstory and everything! Man, I wish they had more stuff with Goober in WW. I don’t see a whole lot with him. Same with Dogbeard. Dogbeard is a great character, and I don’t feel like he gets a lot of recognition for it. And like you said, he has a good message! And same with Goober of course. I wish Webkinz paid more attention to them. They now seem more like background characters than actual hosts. I know they have books with them in it and stuff, but they aren’t really mentioned often. :/ *sigh* oh, and that would be awesome if they made a zangoz bean bag chair! I’d buy it right away! Oh, and that’s fine, Fracktail! Trust me, once I get started on webkinz characters, there’s no turning back! I could talk all day about them! I guess it’s the nostalgia of it all. That stuff really takes me back to when I started webkinz… And yeah, it’s sad that Gennelle left :( I miss seeing her on here, but I guess I’m glad I still have all those happy memories of her on podcast and commenting along with the fans to enjoy ;) And it’s okay! Even though we haven’t talked tons in the last, I totally get it. Not everyone gets a chance to talk often to everybody on here. And sometimes you talk more to some than others. It happens ;) it’s just cool to see you back!

          • Fracktail says:

Man, I miss Plumpy. I feel like her role has been filled by Fiona Feathers lately, like Plumpy’s still on but Fiona’s been doing most o fate question-answering lately. Fiona doesn’t really feel like a Webkinz character though, like a mail pigeon is cool and all but her design doesn’t really ring “Webkinz” for me? Maybe it’s the eyes, more Webkinz hosts have eyes like the plushies but lately they’ve been adding ones that have irises and sclera. Which isn’t bad, but I think it’s cool when the hosts look like actual Webkinz, like how Chef Gazpacho is a pig, and Plumpy is a hippo, and stuff. And I totally see what you’re saying about them being pushed in the background. I’m gonna save my breath because otherwise this post is gonna be too long to post, but basically my number 1 pet peeve about Webkinz is how the ‘Kinz are taking starring roles and the others are being relegated to “adult figure” roles. Like, okay, but where’s all the quirkiness? I wouldn’t mind if they did it while keeping what makes them unique, but I dunno, they feel like teachers when they’re around the ‘Kinz. In the old stories, there were weird and cartoonish adventures, like “Fluffington tries to give everyone sludge for Christmas” or “Goober gets some genius-pants”, or (my favorite) “Plumpy mixes up all her letters which somehow results in Tabby wearing a chocolate dress, Arte wearing a pink sundress and Goober going on a dinner date with a perpetual motion machine”, but what made them so good was that they could give the cute little morals at the end without losing their zany charm; in fact the simplicity of the style made it more charming, I think. I feel like the stories have turned more urban and slice-of-life, which I guess is not objectively bad but it’s still less engaging than the kooky stuff they had before. I guess I just am not a fan of the slice-of-life genre in general, since it’s like “well, I’m already living life.” I just don’t think Webkinz stories should be compared to middle school, is all. I think they should be accessible for all ages, not just the pre-teen window, which the old stories did well because they were not evoking a common thing that a certain age would identify with (like how Purr-Cilla is supposed to be like the cliche “mean but inexplicably popular girl”), but something broader (like how Nafaria is the catch-all “person you don’t want to deal with” type). Oops, so much for not making this post long. But yeah, maybe it’s nostalgia, but I like kooky stories. I wish they still did the Interviews on Webkinz Newz though, they were super funny and Goober’s in particular is comedy gold (and I’m not just saying that because he’s my favorite. Ok, so maybe Safari’s was good too. But Goober’s is awesome, seriously. You should look it up, it’s on the site!)

Whoa, Fracktail, good to see you. The holidays were crazy busy but I’m back on the comments now too. I hope you’ll enjoy Winterfest!

          • 1Emerald1 says:

I miss the old, quirky Tales too, Fracktail. What I’d really like to see is some NEW Tales, they have been re-running the current set in the Newspaper for several years now at least. I keep checking in on them to see whether there’s anything new, but there hasn’t been in ages. Hey Michael Webkinz, what would you think of a Webkinz characters Story-Writing Contest! It would be fun…..

          • Fracktail says:

Hi 1Emerald1! Good to see you again! Yeah, it’s been pretty busy for me but I’m glad to be back. :D And oh my gosh a character writing contest would be awesome, I would totally do that

      • WingsOfFreedom says:

Mmmm, yes both of those do!! I love putting candy canes in my hot chocolate! I’ve never tried it in tea though, might have to do that sometime! (I love tea)! Lol TaffyKitty! *takes candy cane cocoa and raises it in toast to awesomeness… ‘cheers!’* ;P

        • TaffyKitty12 says:

Cheers to candy canes, hot chocolate, and mocha polka! *grabs the cup of mocha polka and raises in the air for a toast!*

          • Fracktail says:

*raises Ice Block Wallpaper* Cheers! Wait, whoops, grabbed the wrong item. *puts wallpaper back, grabs Mocha Polka* Cheers! (And yeah, candy-cane tea tastes awesome! Sometimes the candy cane melts in the tea though, which has no effect on the actual tea but it makes the candy-cane fall in so then it’s no longer hanging out fashionably. But it tastes good, so I’m not complaining. :P)

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

Hahaha Fracktail, you’re hilarious!!! *grabs stylish snowman* cheers to stylish candy canes – *snowman melts into puddly with spectacle and top hat* Oops, poor snowman….. *raises cup of polka mocha* Cheers! There, that was properly done! :-) That sounds awesome!!! (Even if the candy cane does melt so that it looks less fabulous…) I think I’m going to go try some right now!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Cheers! *starts drinking the mocha polka but clumsily misses and gets it all over my shirt* Er… I think I need a new glass…. And one of those laundry detergent sticks… (Oh, and that sounds good! Candy canes in hot chocolate; why haven’t I thought of that?)

          • Fracktail says:

Okay, so maybe we’re not the best at cheers-ing. But it’s the thought that counts! And yeah, you should totally try it! You won’t be disappointed. Besides, anything with “candy” in the name goes with anything. :P

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Haha, yeah, I guess it is the thought that counts! *looks down at stained shirt* That’s fine. I can always wash that. Haha! Oh, and yeah! I bet that tastes great!!! Yep, pretty much anything with the word “candy” involved tastes delicious, and of course goes with almost anything! Especially something like hot chocolate!!

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

Haha, yeah, Fracktail, TaffyKitty, perhaps “cheers-ing” is not exactly our forte, but, who cares? XD Totally the thought that counts! *grabs cup of polka mocha and puts straw in it, then promptly burnd tongue* oh well….. at least we tried! Thanks for cheers-ing with me!!

      • BrightnSinging2Carrots says:
