Challenges are a great way to explore new features, discover fun daily tasks and, most of all, win cool, exclusive prizes.
Challenges in Webkinz Next have lots to offer so let’s take a quick tour through them to see what kinds of activities and rewards you can enjoy. And, if you’ve already played through all the challenges, take a look and let me know: Which one do you LOVE the most and why?
Welcome Challenges
Welcome to Webkinz Next! This series of tasks help you familiarize yourself with the game. Learn to shop, decorate your home, visit Kinzville and cook. Earn Kinzcash and some starter prizes including a new stove, chef’s hat, spruce tree and special starter gift.
Completing the welcome series unlocks more advanced challenges.
As new features come out in the game, we release challenges to reward you with cool prizes themed after the new feature. Haven’t explored the Curio Shop yet? What about Fantastic Snowman? Use the challenges to try them out and you’ll win awesome items like this mining hat!
Adventure Scout to the Rescue!
This challenge is a super fun way to get involved in Kinzville. The first step is to join the Adventure Scouts to help keep Kinzville a safe place to play. Once you’ve won your Adventure Scout uniform, Ms. Biscuits will ask you to help a fellow scout. They’re sick in bed and they need your help! Work through the tasks and you’ll be rewarded with an awesome Adventure Scout medicine cabinet, backpack and sleeping bag.
Time to Play
We’ve created a challenge for every game in the arcade. These challenges introduce you to the game and reward you with awesome game-themed prizes!
My favorites are the Wacky Zingoz Plush Toy and the Glideheart Rainbow Helmet.
Grow Your Family
These challenges teach you how to expand your Webkinz Next home and family. Visit the Adoption Center, add a room to your house, adopt a pet and spark a baby. You’ll earn Estate Wallpaper, Spectacles Plushie, Kinzcash, diamonds, game tokens and a premium reward bag. Not to mention, by the end of this challenge, you will have added two new members to your Webkinz Next family.
Once you’re a new parent, you’ll unlock a new set of challenges that reward you with a recipe card for a baby onesie and a baby bib. Take your baby to Kinzville to win some Kinzcash!
Crafting
Time to get crafty! This series of challenges dives into the world of crafting. Try each of the crafting tables and win new recipes for awesome wallpapers, floors, furniture, fashion and more! You also win crafting materials from these challenges and additional materials are rewarded either as a login gift, from the Wheel of WOW, or you can collect one material box daily from the vending machine next to the Curio Shop.
Gardening and The Farmer’s Market
My favorite thing in the world is gardening so I obviously enjoy the various gardening and outdoor challenges offered in Webkinz Next. Gardening challenges are a great way to introduce yourself with all the possibilities for your outdoor space. I love this challenge because it rewards adorable gardening gear for your home and your pet.
Once you’ve learned to garden, it’s time to visit the Farmer’s Market! Learn to buy and sell crops from Farmer Will, have a taste from the pantry and get your face painted. You’ll be rewarded with a Farm Fresh sign, a basket of veggies and a scarecrow. Also, after completing this challenge you will have earned 750 KC!
Home Away From Home
This challenge is the BIGGEST Webkinz Next challenge ever! The series of landscaping activities rewards the user with nearly 1000 KC, 9 recipes and over 10 incredible prizes including the cottage which is an additional property! The Home Away from Home Challenge is a great way to integrate a vacation home into your pets’ lives. Also, hello barbeque and HELLO gazebo!!

I thought the Adventure Scouts challenge was a lot of fun and I hope it has a sequel. I’d love to go for a hike, meet a bear, maybe find a secret location in the gem mine? There are so many fun possibilities. And the Lakeside Cottage is really lovely. The game challenges are hard; and in one of my two accounts, after I finished the Polar Plunge challenge, I never got another game-related challenge. I’ve had several large bugs that have affected me in the game but I don’t know where to get help to resolve them – like I had three Material Pick Packs just disappear, and I got the wrong reward for the Amazing Snowman once. But I do like the game so far. I wish I could have my Webkinz Classic pets visit my Next pets. :(
I have a feeling that I know where that secret spot may be! I would LOVE some more Adventure Scout things to do! I would love to have some more sleeping bags, better yet a pattern for the sewing machine to be able to make more. Both Adventure Scout ones and Sleepover ones. I don’t think that our pets will be able to ‘visit’ from Classic, but I am wondering if at some point we can send Classic item to Next, or at the very least have a wider variety of items that we could send from Next to Classic. I may just be getting ahead of future plans!
A sleepover inside the gem mine – I mean, they’ve already got the sleeping bags set up! And yeah, I always get frustrated when I can’t copy a cool reward to my Classic accounts. I’d love to be able to send copies of my Victorian Mansion floor, for instance. But I imagine they are adding links between the games, slowly but surely.
I’d also really like older players to get a chance to play the challenge for the wooden garden sign
My favorite challenge is the Farmers market because you can get stuff to eat and grow and and to sell and also get the butterfly sparks and bounce in the bouncing castle and that’s why it’s my favorite challenge for now but I haven’t done the Adventure Scout yet but I hope I get to do it soon. I’m still working on my livingroom and then my bedroom and the kitchen and the bathroom and then if I have enough red Dimonds I’ll get another dog and then make a new room for my baby. But in the spring I will work in outside but for now I’m working inside and I still check my garden and saving red Dimonds too. And Mandy Webkinz can you please help me what is Michael world name? I can’t find it. I have you and Sally but not Webkinz so if you on here can you please tell me Michael world name. Thank you. I think I have George to but I’m not sure but I have you and sally
Some of the games has quite high score goals to win the challenge, but we loved them all.
I never got several of the challenges, don’t they get posted on every account and stay there until completed? It makes no sense why I would miss any if that were the case. Also, on my main account after I raised 3 of my babies, I finally got the ‘play in the park’ baby challenge and I cannot complete it because they already grew up. It’s frustrating. It will be a long time before I can afford another one because we get just 5 gems every 7 days.
It is frustrating to have to wait so long to have enough diamonds to spark a baby, but you will get there. I had to wait it out as well, but it was worth it. I now have a little baby playground at my main home as well!
I have had a problem with the adventure scout challenge from the start. I sent in a ticket about the problem. I still have the email they responded with, the date is January 6, 2021. They have never fixed the problem. Challenges are fun, but this has been disappointing, I have to see the sick webkinz in the park every day I go there.
Can someone from Ganz fix this problem? Maybe @SallyWebkinz can help??? My friend has had a problem for over one year!!! That is not acceptable.
They’ll need to try contacting support again. They’re the only ones with the tools to fix issues like this.

How do we contact support? I have two accounts and did not get any more game challenges after the Polar Plunge challenge was completed. (Among other errors, but this is the biggest.) I can’t figure out where to contact support, just the bug reporting/feedback form, which has not gotten me any response. Thanks!
You can contact support at webkinzsupport@ganz.com — but Polar Plunge is the final game challenge at the moment in that chain.
I love all the challenges. Like Dorothy Lou, I love gardening, so the gardening and farmers market ones were cool. My favorite though was the Home Away From Home. I loved how it took a long time to complete, that way there was something different to do every day. And the prizes were pretty amazing too!
Gardening and the Farmer’s Market is my favorite because it enhanced the gardening experience to a whole new level. I would have tied it with the Lake cottage if there had ever been additions to furniture, decorations and outdoor accessories for lake living.
I grew up gardening with one grandfather and my other grandfather had an orchard plus my mother and grandmother were WONDERFUL with flowers, plants and trees, so…needless to say, I have SEVERAL gardens and orchards.
I have completed all of them but I wish you guys would make some gem challenges??? It would be great if you could! Thanks! -Catloverdoglover

What sign are you referring to? If it’s the Retro Jumbleberry Sign, the pattern is in the Crafting Table list. Am I missing something? Did I forget about something?

Don’t be sad. I have a feeling that you will get it this year at the farmers market, The only thing is you have to sale you plot and you plants ( at the Wshop). and you will get your wooden sign. I had to sell my wooden sign 2 and my plants but I might have to sell my plot again but I’m not sure yet. Because I’m working on my livingroom. But if I sell it I probably will get the wooden sign again and the plot and the the plants that they will give you. So if I have to sale my plot and my plants then all you have to go to the farmers market and then you’ll will get get your plot your plants and your wooden sign.

I have not been a member that long, I completed that challenge and never got the sign. This was talked about on another thread and several people expressed the same thing. No sign. It was never addressed as to why we never got it. Is there anyone who actually has the sign?
