Which is the Greatest Webkinz Pet of All Time?
April 29, 2015 marks TEN YEARS of Webkinz, and to celebrate this momentous occasion, we are inviting YOU to help us choose which pet should be named THE GREATEST WEBKINZ!
Starting on Webkinz Day, visit Webkinz Newz every day to cast your vote.
With so many wonderful pets to choose from, we knew it would be a massive undertaking to narrow down the list. In order to get the ball rolling, we have created a shortlist of 32 of the most beloved pets of all time.
Over the next 10 days, Webkinz Newz will feature each of the 32 finalists, and explain why we felt these pets were special enough to make the list.
So come back tomorrow and meet the first four finalists.

Wow, there are so many great pets, it’s really hard to chose the best one. Although, in my opinion, I feel that the greatest pets on this list are the Cheeky Dog, the Cheeky Cat, The Love Puppy, The Golden Retriever, The Unicorn, The Googles, The Chihuahua, The Whimsy Dragon, and The Panda. Since it’s Webkinz 10th anniversary, I feel that the winning pet should be one that’s been here since the beginning or close to the beginning, but that’s just my opinion. I also think that the winning pet should be one that’s available in plush form. But, I honestly think all of these pets are wonderful choices. ;D

I would have loved it if the pink poodle had been on the list. Lucy was my first webkinz because a friend gave me her for my birthday. I didnt register her for several years, i kinda wish i had, but it may have not made a difference cause i was pretty young then. But now that ive been playing for a fairly long stint, I’ve managed to get my lil sis into it also. Just not quite as much. I can foresee that i will be playing till the computers are running my brain in the future. Lololol kidding! ;) or am i? o-O
I agree that the pink poodle should be on there pinkiepuppy was my first pet i got her when i was 3 and registered her right away but my next pet was the love puppy and its on the list.
I got my love puppy at goodwill in January lol I love it i haven’t traded it’s psi yet and never will xD My first pet was the Basset hound Well… my sister started webkinz then i began to like it now she never plays it so now it’s mine xD
I agree, these are all wonderful choices! I too wish that there’d be more, like the Golden/orange and White Cat, maybe some of the founding pets, I’d like to see the Pom Pom Kitty since she/he’s been shown a lot. I like it how they organized all of it! I’m pretty sure I’ll vote for the Googles, I’m quite a fan myself.

I am so happy that the Snowy Owl made it on the list! It is a great pet! But good luck to all of the Webkinz who are on the list as well!
I think around the house is Bemese mountain dog, gingerbread pup, tigerlilly pup,and love pup and in the wild is signature panda, timber wolf, iberlaln linx and snowy owl.

Cheeky Cat, Love Puppy, Cheeky Dog, Magical Retriever, Sherbet Bunny! Oh I wonder what will win! Oh I hope especially The Cheeky Dog and Cheeky Cat and Love Puppy will be finalists! Even more the two Cheeky animals! They represent Webkinz so much! Or the Golden Retriever! But why is the Chihuahua’s picture a Golden Retriever… o_o

@Cheekycat Yus Go Cheekys!!! Yeah gingerbread puppy! That is one my most favorite pets ever!!! <3 I am a little disappointed that only ONE bird made it to this list, and it's not even the best bird Webkinz there is! I mean, what about the Signature Barn Owl? Or how about the Pink Cockatoo? Or the Magnificent Macaw? Or the Lil Kinz Hummingbird? Oh, and speaking of birds, dear Ganz, I am still waiting for a Webkinz Peacock that is done in actual peacock colors! That would be the most epic pet of all time!!!

Wow, only two Signatures?? Huh. Well, I personally love the Signature Timber Wolf, although I don’t have one myself (I’d get one, but the prices of those things, seriously). I certainly won’t vote for a “Virtual Only” pet, because I don’t think a Webkinz is worth getting if it’s not even a plush.
Actually, there are four. Timber Wolf, Iberian Lynx, Bernese Mountain Dog, and Panda. I love the timber wolf too and I feel the same way about virtual pets! :)
Oh yeah…. Well, in that case, I also like the Bernese Mountain Dog. I always loved the Signatures, and I don’t have many, because I wasn’t even allowed to purchase them until later on, and I was, am, and probably will be for a long time disappointed that GANZ decided to discontinue Signatures. I’m not entirely sure which is worse: The discontinuation of Signatures, or the “streamlining” of KinzChat Plus. *Sigh*
Same here! It’s too bad that so many cool pets are virtual-only; the Spotted Sea Monster, Tinkerpup, and Boa Constrictor are my favorite virtuals in particular, and I really wish they were plushes! But hey, c’est la vie.
I understand wishing some of these were plushes. But I think the Tigerlily Pup deserves to be up there on the voting tallies. It was CREATED by a fan! I think it earns its place up there on the chart. Ganz picked some good ones all the way around, but somehow I think that one deserves the title most because of Ganz’s generosity in ALLOWING a fan’s idea to be made into a Webkinz! Some are too new to have significance I think, but honestly, it’s almost too hard to choose. That is the reason why I am excited to see what they’ll have on each of these 32 pets. Thanks Ganz! This tenth anniversary is getting so cool! #RockinItTen
I love all of the ones that were picked, but I think the Decade Dragon or Ten Year Magic W Pup should be on there, because they are special 10th Anniversary pets!
Yeah, I think that this list SHOULD’VE been made with webkinz 5 years or older so they have some significance.
?What are Signatures
I’m sorry about that. (Look up.) Something happened I don’t know what. I’m really happy right now, ’cause there is only one week of school left! (Well for my family, anyway.) ’cause I’m home schooled, (does that look right?) so we start whenever we want, so the sooner we start the sooner we end. Has anyone gone to Florida in July and I can’t wait! Does anyone have any advice? Because my family is driving down, and camping the way down and the way back! I have three bothers and four sisters and I think that we are going in a huge van, (if we can find one to rent) it seats 12. I’ve been in one.
We drove down 2 years ago. It sucked. 3 Days in the car, there and back! But Florida was AWESOME!! And, wow, you have 6 more siblings than I do!!

I know, right? One of my many accounts is nothing but Signature pets! I am still devastated that they stopped making that line of pets. They’ve made about 10 different pandas, but not one of them is as beautiful as the Signature Panda, or has as awesome a PSI! :D I was praying for the longest time that they would make a Signature Peacock, but those hopes were sadly dashed when they announced the end of the Signature line. Oh well, fingers crossed that the Signature Panda wins!

The Whimsy Dragon strikes again! I totally hope it makes the finalists. I remember when the little guy first came out; I was like, eight or something at the time and I was super excited that there was a dragon Webkinz. Fast forward to today, and it still remains one of my favorites. It’s even my avatar! :D

I want to win Chihuahua because I have 5 friends (BFF) and we adopted firs this pretty plush in the same time and we promise we’ll be for ever friends and we’ll celebrate Webkinz Days together. The Flutter Pig should win it all!! Since i was 3 years of age i have loved the thought of flying pigs ruling the world, and since they can’t do that, i am at least going to hope that they can win this.
I hope the four finalists are the Gingerbread Puppy (my Candycane would LOVE to win!), Golden Retriever (my Bingo’s cheering for the win!), Signature Timber Wolf, and the Ice Dragon. Kayla my Sig. Yellow Lab. wishes she was chosen, but oh well. She’s cheering for her little sister and brother instead.

Wow Ganz thx! but um, well how should I say this, “It’s close to impossible to pick my favorite webkinz when there are like 750 to choose from!” so yeah like hashtag#ICAN’TCHOOSE ME NEED HELP! But I wasn’t surprised to see the Whimsy Dragon up there, it’s a cute pet that I have a virtual of(wish I had plush but is a bit pricy maybe for my bday) and also i’m thinking, the webkinz CHIMPANZEE! I love all my webkinz and couldn’t pick my favorite from one of them but my webkinz Chimpanzee comes pretty close to #1 :) I know it would be PRETTY LONG but Ganz it would be soooo helpful if u could put up a list of ALL the webkinz, but maybe that’s just asking too much :P help plz?

Dude the Cheeky cat isn’t ugly trust me I own the plush pet, it’s cuter than the virtual pet, It actually should get the Win or at least make one of the top 2 or 3. Not only was it one of of the first 20 pets, It’s demand when up along with the Cheeky Dog’s and was a popular, and everyone wanted it back in the day, besides any of the Regular Webkinz should win, I’m not wanting a signature to win because it’s obviously the choice #RegularWebkinzForTheWin
Yeah no, still more interested in Signatures. I mean, come one, they’re really well made (as opposed to normal Webkinz, eventually toe-strings come out, mouth-strings come out, and the nose gets messed-up if it’s fabric, and that always really bums be out), they’re generally very good-looking (also, note, the Signature Yellow Lab looks a million times better in real life), and the only real downside I can think of is that they’re so darn expensive. #SignatureTimberWolfForTheWin

I love the gingerbread puppy, love puppy, ice dragon and signature timber wolf. I wish I had that signature timber wolf. I can’t get it cause its about $400 on amazon.com. It’s so valuable! I think I will vote for a pet that I have though. So, I think my vote will be for the ice dragon. My favorite webkinz that I have. I paid $35 for my ice dragon on amazon.com. It is a great pet!
