Molly’s Crisis
This is awful! I can’t believe that Millie actually ran away from home! Just because I tried to make her eat her carrots! I called Roberta and Nibbles and they are on their way over to help me try to find her. I feel sick – I never should have left her alone in her room when she was so upset, but how could I know she would run away? Roberta said that when they get here we are going to split up and go looking in all of Millie’s favorite places. But I’m not sure – maybe someone should stay here just in case Millie decides to come back? What if she never comes back? What will my parents do? No! That’s not going to happen, right? We’re going to find her! Right? Oh, this is just the worst thing that ever happened to me!
A Message from Millie
Oh no, oh no, oh no!!! This is not happening! Today my mother decided to use one of the babysitting coupons that I gave her for Mother’s Day so she could do some shopping and have lunch with Ms. Cowoline at Le Snout. We spent the morning playing checkers and coloring in Millie’s coloring books. It was all going just fine until lunchtime when I told Millie that she couldn’t have any ice cream until she finished her carrot sticks. I don’t know what the problem was because my mother does that all the time and Millie just eats the carrots. But for some reason when I told her to eat them she just folded her arms and said ‘no!’ I said fine and put away the ice cream and next thing I know she was having a full-out tantrum! I dragged her into her room and said she could come out when she calmed down. She stayed in there for a long time so I just read my book in my room. A Missed Invitation
Hey, it’s Nibbles again. Kind of a weird day today. You know that the other day Molly said that Purr-cilla was just using me for my pool? Well, today I decided to prove her wrong. Molly thinks that the only time Purr-cilla and her friends want to hang out with me is at my pool. So today I decided I would go over and surprise Purr-cilla at her place. And then the strangest thing happened. When I got to Purr-cilla’s there were a couple of bikes in the driveway and I’m pretty sure they were Janice’s and Penelope’s because I remember them from school. Which was great, right? Because I figured the four of us could all hang out together. So I rang the doorbell and I was almost positive that I heard someone walking around inside but then there was no answer at the door. After a minute I rang again, and then I waited and waited but no one came. Elwin’s Upcoming Tour
Dear Hailey, I’m just having a quick break from wardrobe fittings. You should see some of the costumes they’ve come up with for me. Persephone was called in to help put some ensembles together and she came up with some really groovy combinations! It’s not exactly my regular style, but Persephone thinks I can pull off these looks. We’ve been getting everything ready to start the big tour. There is this massive bus that the whole crew travels on. There are beds so we can sleep on the road, and a fully stocked kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower so I can shower on the bus! Wild, huh? There will be a gourmet chef traveling with us (I think he started out as a sous-chef at Le Snout) and he asked for a list of my favorite dishes to make during the tour. Wow! This is a far cry from our little studio in Kinzville, huh? But just between you and me, I am kind of missing the grind. Hey, any luck with those interviews? I want to hear all about it! A Warning from Molly
Ugh! It’s Nibbles here. Sometimes people can be so petty. I think Molly is jealous that I have been spending time with Purr-cilla and her friends because you would not believe what she said to me today! Molly came over to my house and said she needed to talk to me. Then she said that she thought that Purr-cilla and Penelope and Janice were just using me for my pool! Wow, Molly! Jealous much? She said that she sees Purr-cilla and Penelope and Janice shopping at the KinzStyle Outlet or having coffee at Le Snout, and she asked why, if they were real friends, did they only want to spend time with me at my pool? Well, clearly they know that I have other friends like Molly and Roberta, and that those other friends aren’t necessarily as open and friendly as me, so they are just giving me space to hang with my other friends, right? I’m sure they would love for me to come out with them for their shopping trips, but then my other friends would be jealous. An Unexpected Visit
Hey, it’s Nibbles again. I think I might have offended some of my friends and I feel kind of bad about it, but it wasn’t really my fault. I was supposed to meet Sparky and Roberta at the Arcade after lunch, but just as I was leaving, Purr-cilla showed up in her bathing suit. She wanted to go for a swim with me in my family’s new pool. I didn’t want to be rude and turn her down because I did tell her the other day that they would be welcome any time, so I figured I could just go for a quick dip with Purr-cilla and then meet my friends. The only thing is – I kind of lost track of time! I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but Purr-cilla was just being so nice to me. She kept telling me how much she liked my bathing suit and she was hanging on my every word. I guess I was just feeling flattered by all the attention. Berries are Coming to Webkinz Friends!
Berries are Coming to Webkinz Friends! The Berry Festival is on in Webkinz World and the fruit-filled fun is spreading to Webkinz Friends! Starting on Friday, July 20, there will be four brand new crops that you can plant and harvest to get Food: Jumbleberries, Pickleberries, Sugarberries (all available in the “Resources” section of the KinzMart) and the very special Moonberries (you need Facebook credits to purchase this plant). When you harvest these crops, you’ll get a chance to earn Collection Pieces (each berry has its own collection). Complete a berry’s collection and trade the pieces in for a berry that you can send back to Webkinz World. This will help fill up the jars in Jumbleberry Fields faster than ever before! To really make your fields look fantastic, pick up the three brand new decorations available in the KinzMart. You’ll love the “Fresh Berry Juice Stand,” and the “Fresh Berries” and “Jumbleberry Fields” signs. Have a ‘berry’ good time farming in your own Jumbleberry Fields!
Nibbles’ Family Takes the Plunge
Okay, I don’t want to be a disloyal sister or anything, because Plumpy is the best sister ever, but can I tell you something really cool that happened since Plumpy got married and went away and my parents came home? My mom and dad decided to get a pool! A POOL! Can you believe that? That wouldn’t have happened if Plumpy were still in charge! It is so nice having my very own swimming pool in my backyard! It’s been a really hot summer here and, as long as my mom or dad is around, I can just dive in any time I want to cool off. I’ve been having such a good time. Then something kind of interesting happened the other day. I was hanging out in the pool, when my mom said some friends were at the front door. Stoogles’ Check-Up
Stoogles here, feeling kind of sorry for myself. I don’t know if you heard the bad news, but I fell off my trampoline and broke my flipper! Can you believe that? I mean, if I broke my flipper during the school year, well, that wouldn’t be the end of the world, right? But on summer vacation? What a drag! Anyway, I just got back from a check-up with Dr. Quack and he said that my break is healing nicely, but that I have to continue to take it easy. Do you know what ‘taking it easy’ means? It means more hanging out with my grandpa while the rest of my family has lots of awesome summer fun. So long, amusement park. Hello, cold noodles and naps. At least my friends have been visiting me. Molly and Nibbles came over the other day with cupcakes for me and Sparky lent me his new video game. I guess that kind of makes up for the fact that I am stuck here with nothing to do. Dear Hailey, Wow! I am pumped! We finished the album and I just got to listen to it all the way through for the first time! Oh, Hailey! I can’t wait for you to hear it! This really is the coolest thing that has ever happened to me! I think you’re going to be impressed. Well, I know you’re already impressed. Listen – I don’t want to go all goopy on you or anything, but I thought this would be a good time to let you know how much I appreciate all the support and encouragement you’ve offered me my whole life. I am so lucky to have a sister like you, and being away from you has really shown me just how much I always lean on you. Okay – goopy moment over! Sorry! The Almost Big Sister
Oh, wow! Let me tell you – it’s not easy being an almost-big sister! This can be very stressful! The baby is due, like, any second and last night my mom started having these pains and I thought this was it! I was running around, boiling water and trying to find clean sheets, (isn’t that what they always do on TV?) when my dad told me to calm down. Calm down? Hello, mister?! There’s a baby on the way!!! He told me to be quiet and stop yelling (I was yelling?) because my mother was on the phone with the doctor. Her pains had stopped by then and the doctor said that it was false labor. Ugh! Now I know what Molly is talking about when she says Millie gets on her nerves – I mean, how could my new little sister or brother do this to me? Then my dad told me that when the time comes I don’t need to boil water or get clean sheets because the hospital will have all of that. And then he made me tidy up the linen closet. Hailey Interviews Designers
Hailey Interviews Designers Well, I’ve received a pile of resumes from potential design partners so, as part of the interview process, I decided to put forth a design challenge and ask each candidate to design a kitchen. Based on their work experience, the candidates that I asked to provide designs are PJ Collie, Wiggles Pig, and Tabby Von Meow. PJ has a lot of retail experience from working at the KinzStyle Outlet. Tabby seems to be a Jack-of-all-trades after running the Employment Office for so long, and Wiggles Pig is a great designer in his own right. We just need to see if we could forge a partnership. The weirdest thing is that when I received all their design proposals, there was another set of drawings that were submitted. I just found them on my desk and I have no idea where they came from. And the thing about the drawings is that they’re really – well, I’ll let you judge for yourself. So here are the designs submitted by Tabby, PJ, Wiggles and… ? Dear Sparky Hi! How’s it going at your uncle’s shop? I hope you’re not too busy. Science camp is so much fun, but Booger kind of needs to chill. I mean, camp has all these awesome activities, like swimming and hiking and crafting, but Booger gets frustrated any time we’re not doing science all the time. So whenever we have to leave the lab he gets in a mood and is not really fun to be around. The silly thing is – we are doing science all the time anyway. At swimming, we have to try to figure out the time based on the sun’s position in the sky, and when we go hiking we collect samples to study in the biology lab and figure out the height of trees from their shadows. And often our crafting projects are for use in the lab, like when we built this cool volcano out of papier mache and then we made our own lava in the lab. But whatever.
