Stoogles here, feeling kind of sorry for myself. I don’t know if you heard the bad news, but I fell off my trampoline and broke my flipper! Can you believe that? I mean, if I broke my flipper during the school year, well, that wouldn’t be the end of the world, right? But on summer vacation? What a drag!
Anyway, I just got back from a check-up with Dr. Quack and he said that my break is healing nicely, but that I have to continue to take it easy.
Do you know what ‘taking it easy’ means? It means more hanging out with my grandpa while the rest of my family has lots of awesome summer fun. So long, amusement park. Hello, cold noodles and naps.
At least my friends have been visiting me. Molly and Nibbles came over the other day with cupcakes for me and Sparky lent me his new video game. I guess that kind of makes up for the fact that I am stuck here with nothing to do. Hmmm… maybe I should call Roberta and play up the pain a bit. After all she hasn’t brought me anything yet and she is an awesome baker. There’s nothing wrong with that, right? Isn’t it a compliment to her skills?

Oh, It’s OK Stoogles. These things just happen, The good thing is it’ll heal in no time. Once I fractured my arm when a went down a hill and hit a parked car on my bike. It hurt, but it healed nicely.

Okay, thats just insensitive on your family’s part. If I broke my foot, my mom and dad wouldnt go anywhere and stay home with me! Thats just not right on your family’s part.
