Stoogles here, feeling kind of sorry for myself. I don’t know if you heard the bad news, but I fell off my trampoline and broke my flipper! Can you believe that? I mean, if I broke my flipper during the school year, well, that wouldn’t be the end of the world, right? But on summer vacation? What a drag!
Anyway, I just got back from a check-up with Dr. Quack and he said that my break is healing nicely, but that I have to continue to take it easy.
Do you know what ‘taking it easy’ means? It means more hanging out with my grandpa while the rest of my family has lots of awesome summer fun. So long, amusement park. Hello, cold noodles and naps.
At least my friends have been visiting me. Molly and Nibbles came over the other day with cupcakes for me and Sparky lent me his new video game. I guess that kind of makes up for the fact that I am stuck here with nothing to do. Hmmm… maybe I should call Roberta and play up the pain a bit. After all she hasn’t brought me anything yet and she is an awesome baker. There’s nothing wrong with that, right? Isn’t it a compliment to her skills?
I hope you feel better soon, Stoogles. You’re by brother’s favorite W-tales character. By the way, how are you going to play video games with only one flipper?

Hi Stoogles, Teach your grandpa how to play video games with you. I know he’ll be slow, but, you have a broken flipper so you’ll be slow too. The grand kid taught poppopbear how to play and he was awesome, for an 80 year old guy. Meanwhile, just take it easy so it heals good. jennifer

So sorry to hear about your bad break. It will be hot and itchy. Be careful scratching. At least you were doing something fun when it happened. My foot broke when the TV dropped on it. Not fun at all. As far as playing up the pain a bit, Roberta is quite busy these days. Cold noodles are pretty yucky. Maybe all of your friends should plan a fun time and bring potluck. But most of all you need time to heal. It’s a good time to get in some summer reading. Get well soon.

Thats not good. Both me and my older sister broke our feet. Lol! I broke mine at soccer and she broke hers at dance. I was fine, but she was freeking out because she thought she would never dance again. But she did and shes the best in class! -Jayce☆★☆

Oh and stoogles I know just how you feel I had that happen to me once I fracture my elbow at the end of the school year and had to wear a cast all summer and no pool party’s and water games for me! I’m sorry Skpelt. Same thing happened 2 me. I broke my leg in December & had 2 wear a cast 4 7 weeks(2 weeks of that was spent in Winter break) No vacation & snowboarding 4 me. I shouldn’t have played that game of tag w/ my older brothers.(I tripped over a curb) BTW, don’t b so selfish Stoogles! When I broke my leg I didn’t make my friends give me stuff! My brother had a fever a week ago & he had 2 take like 5 naps a day even though he’s 17. Ha ha 4 him.( being the only girl in the family besides your mom, u have 2 have 2 make fun of your brother’s sometimes when they do that 2 u every day. It’s natural.) $Strawberry out$
Well, Stoogles, I had to have operation to remove my wisdom teeth just today, and I could consider myself lucky, because when Kodiak had to get it done, she had an allergic reaction, and her voice has been raspy ever since

My daughter broke her arm one summer less than a week into summer break. And we have a pool. said it was the worse summer she ever had. we used to use almost an entire thing of saran wrap on it just so she could cool of. her arm looked so huge.
I broke my foot in December. I had 2 wear a cast 4 7 weeks & 2 was spent in winter break. Your lucky Stoogles, my mom didn’t let any1 come over when I broke my foot. Just because of a curb.(I tripped over a curb while playing tag) It didn’t really hurt, It just felt numb. I broke it the day be4 a field trip so I couldn’t go. :( $Strawberry out$
I agree @#Solo cup#. Stoogles shouldn’t use Roberta for treats and stuff. It’s good that his friends came to make him feel better. I visited a sick friend (summrgal) the other day and I caught her cold. ACHOO!!!! Ugh I feel awful. Anyways Stoogles, you should give your Grandpa a chance. Maybe he has some interesting stories or games that you could play.
