Nibbles Finds a Dress
Hi! It’s me, Nibbles and today I had a pretty good day for a change. I went shopping again with Plumpy and I really wasn’t into the idea because even though I really like Charles, I just don’t know how my life is going to change when they get married and I guess I’ve been kind of down on the whole wedding thing. So we walked into ANOTHER wedding store and at first I thought ‘Same old, same old.’ But then I saw this really lovely pink dress. It was so lacey and puffy. I thought it was so pretty. I guess Plumpy could see that I actually kind of liked this one because she immediately encouraged me to try it on. Well, when I came out of the change room, I felt like a princess! Recipe: Bird’s nest cupcakes
         What you need: Your favorite cupcakes, chocolate frosting, icing bag with small round tip, candy eggs  What you do: Frost your cupcake with chocolate frosting. Using the icing bag, pipe on chocolate icing ‘twigs’ to make a bird’s nest. Stick the candy eggs into the middle of the nest. Give out the cupcakes to celebrate spring!
Hailey and Elwin make over PJ Collie’s Basement apartment
Hey, it’s Elwin here. Our friend, PJ Collie had some really good news lately. The landlord of her basement apartment told her they were renovating the whole building and she could choose the new fixtures that she wanted. PJ had some KinzCash saved up too so she thought it would be the perfect excuse to get rid of her old mishmash of furniture and invest in some new pieces to go with the new look. This is PJ’s place before. She really needs a better workspace in the kitchen, and her bedroom furniture is pretty, but in an open concept space she really needs to tie all the colors together better. I don’t think those pink pieces are working with the rest of the apartment. She also wants some more storage space and Hailey and I have a great idea on how to tie in extra closet space with a new bathroom enclosure that will be a little more private. Coming Clean
Oh man. You know that crazy stone Stoogles gave me and how it’s been working so well at bringing me luck? Well, it turns out that all of my friends were just playing a trick on me. Do I ever feel stupid. How did I find out? Well, I went to school today and I was positive that I had my lucky stone in the pocket of my jeans. It was working like a charm – literally – because this morning I aced my spelling test (and spelling is not really my strong suit). Then when gym came around I was kind of dreading it because I was sure I would be picked last for hockey. But guess what? I was picked first! And it wasn’t even one of my friends who was choosing today! And to top it all off, I scored a goal! It was a thing of beauty. Craft: Paper plate Easter baskets
 Roberta here with a really simple and fun Easter craft! If you want to make a cute basket, here’s how.  What you need: Paper plate, acrylic or watercolor paint, paintbrush, stapler, cardstock, stickers, Easter grass  What you do: Paint the front and back of your paper plate. Take your paper plate and cut eight slits in it, like this: Pull the flaps of paper so they overlap each other. Staple in place. Keep doing that (like this): And eventually, you’ll end up with this: Staple a handle across the top and decorate with stickers (use stickers or pieces of paper to cover up the staples). Fill with Easter grass and goodies!

Millie’s Birthday Party
          Dear Diary,  Well, we had Millie’s birthday party today and I have to say: it went pretty well. Millie had fun (she said it was the best party she’d ever been to) and the other kids seemed to enjoy themselves. There were only a few minor incidents (of course).  The first one happened when I was wrapping Millie’s gift (a jewelry box). I was in a huge hurry (I had to help decorate and the kids were arriving in less than an hour)…and I dropped it. It fell to the floor and made kind of a ‘clunk’ noise. I didn’t think much of it, until I opened it and found the ballerina that was supposed to dance around lying on her side! I got out my craft glue and glued her back into place and hoped for the best. I finished wrapping in record time. The good news is that the glue had dried by the time Millie opened the gift – and the dancer still danced around. Fancy Flower Sandwiches
Millie’s party is coming up really soon, so it’s time to start preparing the food and getting the decorations ready! Since it’s almost springtime, I figured I’d make some adorable flower sandwiches. They’re so easy to make – and very cute. Here’s what you do:  Make your sandwich. Millie likes tuna salad and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, so that’s what we’ll be having at her party. Cut the sandwich out with a cookie cutter. You’ll want to use a cookie cutter that doesn’t have any really small parts (it might rip the bread when you cut it out). Because I’m making flower sandwiches, I’m going to garnish the middle of the peanut butter and jelly ones with cherries, and the tuna ones with olives! Put the sandwiches in the fridge until it’s time for the party. Make sure to wrap them well!

Dear Nibbles, Hi again! We just made port so I wanted to be sure and send you a letter. Starting tomorrow I won’t be able to write you because we are headed into… the jungle! When Dogbeard was last in Kinzville he was talking to Arte Fact about a treasure that Arte’s friend, Matilda Monkey, had been hot on the trail of. Dogbeard thought it sounded a lot like a treasure that he found a map to in an old shipwreck on an island last year. So now we are going to try and connect with Matilda and share the map with her and maybe help find the treasure! Isn’t that cool? The locals say that a monkey matching Matilda’s description passed through their town a few months ago, stocking up on supplies for a jungle trek so we are going to follow her trail. This trip is so exciting, Nibbles! I wish you were here with me, but I will try to tell you everything that happens and take lots of pictures. Then it can be sort of like you were here. Plumpy’s Smoothie Recipes
Dear Readers, I’m so excited! Why? Because my brunch is coming up very soon! Now, I know I’ve got Webkinz World’s foremost chef (Chef Gazpacho) cooking for me, but I just can’t be totally paws off. I need to contribute SOMETHING. And that something is going to be smoothies! I love smoothies. They’re so tasty and healthy. Here are my two favorite recipes: Sweet Strawberry Smoothie (Makes 2) What you need: 8 strawberries (washed and with the leaves removed) 1/2 cup milk ½ cup strawberry yogurt 2 tbsp. maple syrup 6 ice cubes Blender Adult Assistant What you do: Put everything into the blender. Have your adult assistant supervise the blending. Pour into a glass and enjoy! Plumpy’s Sunshine Smoothie (Makes 2) What you need: ½ cup milk ½ cup cold water 3 oz. frozen orange juice (concentrate) 7 cubes of ice 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. maple syrup Blender Adult Assistant What you do: Put everything together in the blender.
