The Employment Office Break Room Redesign
 Hailey: Hey all! Hailey and Elwin here with the first of our redecorating challenge articles. Elwin: That’s right, Hailey. All week we’ll be putting up our latest projects to see whose room designs Webkinz Newz readers like better. Hailey: The first room we tackled was the Employment Office Break Room.           Elwin: Can you say seventies shabby? That’s what I thought when I first saw it. Ugh. The room was just such a jumble of mismatched furniture. Hailey: Tabby told us that most of the furniture had come from secondhand stores, or from friends. She got it when she first opened the Employment Office, and she just hadn’t updated the room in years. Elwin: Enter the Designer Elephants! Elwin vs. Hailey
        Hailey and I have been working a TON lately. We’ve been redoing lots of different places around Kinzville – and, unfortunately, we haven’t always agreed about which way to decorate a space. Although I love my sister, I definitely have a different sense of design. She tends to be very classic and simple, while I like to mix up crazier colors and patterns. Since we’re both SUPER competitive, we thought it would be fun to have a design contest. Each day for the next week, we’re going to redecorate a spot in Webkinz World. We’re going to show you the original, then both of our designs. We’d love it if you told us whose design you like better! At the end of the week, one of us is going to rule the design world!  So Hailey, bring your best designs – it’s game on!

Letter from Laurabeard
Dear Nibbles, Oh my gosh! I have had so much excitement since I wrote to you last! We picked Matilda Monkey’s trail in the jungle and followed it, but then it suddenly and mysteriously ended. We couldn’t figure out what could have happened – it was as if she just disappeared. But then, as we were looking around, we heard this shouting that sounded like it was coming from somewhere far away. When we stopped and listened, we realized it must be Matilda but it sounded like she was in trouble. We shouted back and told her to keep calling out so we could follow the sound of her voice. I was walking along a path with Dogbeard when I suddenly felt my feet give way below me and if Dogbeard hadn’t grabbed my arm I would have fallen into a deep hole. We looked down into the hole and there was Matilda! She had fallen into the hole! We threw down a rope and pulled her up. She had a twisted ankle and she was almost out of water but other than that she was fine. In fact, she was more than fine – she was really excited about … Read more
