Salley’s Craft
Hi everyone! I came up with a really neat craft to make for the Fall Fair. Check out these beautiful barrettes! What you need:Bobby pins, beads with large holes, rectangle of cardstock  What you do: Choose what kind of bead you’d like to put on your barrettes. You can make matching ones or complimentary ones (for example, you could make a bee and a flower). Slide your beads all the way to the end of your bobby pin. The pin should still close properly (the bead shouldn’t make it stay open – if it does, you need thinner beads). When your barrettes are done, put them onto the cardstock. This allows for them to be displayed nicely!
Purr-cilla’s impressed
Purr-cilla here. Okay, so it appears Salley isn’t always as lame as she seems (although most of the time she is.) She and that joke of a vice-president of hers went around town to try and round up donations for prizes for the fall fair, and they actually got a pretty decent haul. When I walked into the council lounge (which, by the way, is totally overcrowded ever since Salley won the election and opened it up to everybody. Um, hello? What’s the point of even being in council if you’re not going to have your own elite lounge that keeps everybody else out?) I was shocked to see how many prizes they actually got. I guess a lot of the residents of Kinzville actually came through with some prizes. But I guess it’s hardly surprising – did you see my poster? It was pretty awesome. I’m sure everybody was practically falling all over themselves to donate after they caught sight of it. Oh, and don’t try to pretend you didn’t like my poster. I know a bunch of you said it was the best. Obviously – what did you expect? I mean, … Read more

Salley’s Donations
By Salley Cat Okay, so I know Purr-cilla thinks she’s queen of the fair, but I am going to show her she’s not the only one with good ideas around here. I just knew that we don’t need to go and blow more of our budget on prizes and that we’d get lots of awesome prizes without having to spend a single KinzCash. Everyone has been really excited about the fair and they’ve all offered to help us out if we need it. So now I’m taking them up on those offers. Sparky’s Uncle Arte donated loads of cool stuff, and Nibbles’ sister Plumpy had some really awesome things for us too. I also hit up Ms. Birdy and Doctor Quack and they both said they were thrilled to contribute. I just have a few more stops, but so far I have so many great prizes! And I didn’t use any money at all. Ha! Looks like Purr-cilla’s not the only one who can make things happen around here!
Stoogles’ Homemade Candles
Hmph! Purr-cilla told me not to even bother trying to make a craft to sell at the craft table because no one would want to buy anything made by me. But I’ll show her. I am making these awesome beeswax candles. They’re really simple. Even I can do it! What you need: -         Sheet of beeswax -         Large pre-waxed wick (both available at your local craft store) -         Raffia ribbon  What you do: To make two candles cut the sheet of wax in half lengthwise. Cut a wick to the same length as the short side of the wax sheet and place it along one end of the sheet, positioned so that the end of the wick sits about a half inch above the top of the sheet. Starting at the end with the wick, roll the sheet of beeswax tightly around the wick and continue to roll until the whole sheet is rolled up around the wick. Repeat the process with your leftover sheet of beeswax and decorate your candle with a bit of raffia ribbon. How about that? I think that is one nice looking candle, … Read more
Fall Fair Game: Pop a Balloon
Hi there! It’s Cowabelle here with a really easy game to play at a party (or, in our case, a fall fair). When playing this game, just make sure to watch out for little kids and pets – be certain the broken balloon pieces get cleaned up right away so they don’t end up in someone’s mouth! Here’s how you play the game: 1.      Pick up a bunch of prizes (small things like pencils, erasers, stickers – stuff like that). 2.      Write out the prize names on small slips of paper. 3.      Get a whole lot of balloons (one for each prize). 4.      Put the prize name into the balloon. Blow it up and tie it. 5.      Stick the balloons to a fence or wall. 6.      Give your guests a pointy toothpick and have them pick a balloon to pop. 7.      The guest gets whatever prize was in the balloon they popped!
Sparky’s Sheep Cupcake
I just love coconut so I thought it would be cool to make a cupcake that is covered in it! What you need: -         Cupcakes -         White icing -         Coconut flakes -         Dark chocolate almonds -         Dark chocolate raisins -         sprinkles What to do: Fill a bowl with coconut flakes. Spread a thick layer of white icing on top of cupcake and it into the coconut flakes. Stick a dark chocolate almond onto the top at one end to make your sheep’s head. Put a dark chocolate raisin on either side of the head to make the ears. Poke five dark chocolate raisins into the sides to make your sheep’s legs and tail. Using a toothpick, add two dots of icing on the head for eyes and put a blue sprinkle on each one. Then use your toothpick to add a pink sprinkle nose. This cupcake is woolly, woolly good!
Tour of Webkinz World: The Magical Forest
Intro: My project is about the Magical Forest, obvs. I mean, I live there, so who knows more about it? No one! Anyway, here’s the basic stuff: The Magical Forest is made up of five different areas: Zumwhere- this is where Zums live. Duh. Magic Mire – My sister, Nafaria, LOVES it here. She doesn’t love the number of good fairies who fly around, but she does love zapping them with her lightning powers. Woodland Wonders – The boy fairies live here. Alyssa’s Star Challenge – Why you’d go here, I don’t know. That icky Alyssa lives here and tries to get you to trade stars with her. Yuck. Fairy Falls – This place is also pretty awesome. All the better if the good fairies would learn to scram. There’s also an area to play Pixie Pod Pachinko, which is some game the boy fairies came up with. So, you know, yawn.  History: The only IMPORTANT history in the Magical Forest is that of my sister, Nafaria. She is the Queen of the Bad Fairies, and she’s awesome at her job. She treats everyone well – unless they make her mad! She … Read more
Molly’s Pencil Toppers
Hey everyone! It’s me, Molly! As you know, there’s a craft fair coming up. What you might NOT know is that I’m a HUGE craft fan! Also, I could use a bit of extra KinzCash – so I’m making these awesome pencil toppers and selling them! Here’s how I did it: What you need:Pencils, craft foam (in all different colors), felt (in all different colors), scissors, craft glue, needle and thread, puff paint or sparkle glue, sequins, beads or buttons (whatever you’d like to use for decoration) What you do: 1.      Figure out what kind of design you want to make. I made two different designs: a heart and a Christmas tree (I figured Webkinz might want to use these as stocking stuffers). Cut out the basic shape from your foam or felt. 2.      If you’re using felt, stitch around the shape, leaving a little opening for the top of the pencil. Decorate the felt, and then slip it over the top of the pencil. 3.      If you’re using foam, cut a small slit in the middle of your shape. Cut another … Read more
Fall Fair Game – Beanbag Toss
By Stoogles So Salley told me to come up with some game ideas for the fall fair and I had an idea for a game that is really simple to set up but that will be totally fun!  We’re going to make a beanbag toss! What you need: -         Five beanbags -         Basket What you do: Set the basket about ten paces from the spot from where you will have your players will throw. Hand player five beanbags and have them throw one at a time. If they manage to get one or more beanbags into the basket, they win a prize! Simple to make, easy to understand, fun to play! Stoogles, my man, you are a genius! Why thank you, Stoogles. How kind of you to say!
