Pretty Pink Gift Tags

PinkTags

Hey all! Nibbles here. We had SUCH a great time at the Pink Party that we wanted to send some thank you gifts to everyone who helped out. Here are the pretty pink gift tags I made – and here’s how to make them!   What you need: Pink cardstock or scrapbooking paper in two shades of pink, hole punch, small cup, larger cup, pink ribbon, pink marker, pink glitter glue, pink stickers, scissors, craft glue or glue stick   What you do: Trace your small cup on one of the pieces of cardstock or scrapbook paper. Trace your larger cup on the other piece of cardstock. Cut out each circle. Glue the small circle onto the larger one. Using a hole punch, make a hole at the top of the large circle. Thread the pink ribbon through the hole. Decorate your tags with pretty stickers, glitter and designs. Tie your tags onto gifts you want to give!

Hailey & Elwin’s Pink Bedroom Makeover

PinkBedroom

Hey Webkinz fans! It’s me, Hailey! Persephone Poodle has hired Elwin and me to design her bedroom and bathroom! We’re so excited! She said that we can have complete creative freedom with two conditions – the rooms have to be pink, and they have to be sophisticated. We can do that! We’re still working on the bathroom so for now we’re going to take you through the bedroom design.       We know how fashionable Persephone is so we wanted to create a bedroom that really captured her unique personality. We started with soft coral walls and set it off with the Nursery flooring. The light pink tiles pick up the wall color while the darker pink tiles let us bring in brighter shades as well. The wooden flooring adds an elegant feel. I just love the combination of brown and pink – I think it is so stylish! That’s why we chose the Mocha Magic Low bed and the Tri-Mirror Mocha dresser. The chocolatey hues set off the pinks perfectly and the bed even comes with magenta pillows!  The KinzVision HDTV was right in keeping with our Mocha accents and the sleek look of all three pieces captured … Read more

Chef Gazpacho’s Pink Foods

Gazpacho

Ah, friends! I’ve been SO busy these past few days. I thought it was important to pick the very best dishes from my repertoire to make for Fluffington’s party. And – well, if we’re going to make them, maybe you’d like to cook up some for your pet? Here are some clues to get you started!   Murkiibuns – Get out your sandwich maker and then hit the W Shop for a fierce fruit and something salty and sour. Get ready to grow a heady veggie – and then you’ll be ready!   Werrigetti – Get two types of fruit (one that’s green on the outside and red on the inside, one that’s red with small seeds) and a delicious pasta dish. Make this recipe on your pet’s stove.   Pearlipate – Visit the W Shop for something that makes a splash, a bowl of veggies, and a bland-tasting fruit. Make this recipe on your pet’s stove.   Enjoy making these taste sensations!

Ella Reports on the Pink Party

EllaJune20

Ella McWoof here with some great news from the Pink Party – it was a total success! Everyone who was anyone was at the party, which was very graciously hosted by Fluffington St. Bernard (who, near the end of the party, was spotted talking to Elwin and Hailey about ‘un-pinking’ his dining hall).   The highlights of the party had to be:   The Pink Dinner – Chef Gazpacho and Chef Sophia did a WONDERFUL job making everything look and taste outstanding. It’s so hard to choose a favorite dish – they were all good! The great games – the ‘Kinz did a terrific job arranging games for everyone. Even the adults joined in! The donations – we were so pleased to see the grand total. It was outstanding! The take-home bags – I’m sorry, but take home bags are just awesome. And so well put together!   It was a pink-tacular, pink-tastic, pink-filled day of fun. October is all about thinking pink!

Autumn Pencil Case

PencilCase

What you need: A piece of felt in red or orange, red, orange, yellow, green and brown felt scraps, yarn, darning needle, two large beads.   What you do: Fold the piece of felt in half (hamburger fold). Thread the darning needle with your yarn. Tie a not at the end. Sew both sides of the felt to make a bag. Around the top of your bag, do a simple, big stitch. When you’ve got all around the top, take the needle off the yarn and tie a big bead onto either end of the yarn. You can pull the yarn to close the bag (this is how a drawstring works). If you want a larger bag, just use two pieces of felt and sew them together – use the same method for the drawstring part. Cut out leaf shapes from each of the felt scraps. Attach felt leaves with fabric glue.

Pink Gift Game

PinkGift

Hey there! Stoogles here with a great idea for any party – and in this case, for the Pink Party!   Everyone loves opening gifts, right? Well, what if EVERYONE got a chance to open the same gift? Sounds crazy? Listen up!   What you need: 10 sheets of newspaper or large scrap paper, 5 sheets of tissue paper, small gift or candy, ribbon   What you do: Put the small gift in the centre of a piece of tissue paper. Wrap the tissue paper all around it. Wrap four more tissue paper sheets around it. Wrap the whole thing in pieces of ribbon (tie them in place). Add layers of newspaper, tying ribbons where you need to in order to keep the whole thing together. Finish the gift off with a giant a ribbon! Sit in a circle with your friends. Pass the gift around the circle and remove the ribbon and the paper.  Everyone can only remove one layer of paper or ribbon before passing it along. The person to unwrap the last layer of tissue paper gets the gift!

Pink Hopscotch

Hopscotch

Roberta here with a great game to play with your friends! It’s called ‘Pink hopscotch’ and it’s super easy!   What you need: Pink chalk, blue chalk, sidewalk, friends, rock     What you do: Using the blue chalk, draw a hopscotch grid on the sidewalk. Make lots of different squares – and really be creative in your design! Number each square with the blue chalk. Have your friends stand at the end of the hopscotch. The first person throws the rock and sees where it lands. That person hops all the way to the square and then, in the pink chalk, writes his or her initials.  Everyone keeps doing this until the whole hopscotch board is filled with initials. The tricky part is that when someone else has claimed a square, you can’t jump on it! So if Cowabelle, Salley and I were playing, the only squares I could hop on would be ones without an initial and ones with RR (Roberta Rabbit) on them! When all the squares had initials, I could only hop on the RR squares! The first person to get through the whole grid without … Read more

Sparky’s Game: Pink Tag

Sparky

Sparky here with a pretty awesome game idea (I’m in charge of making sure all the younger Webkinz have something to do during the Pink Party). We’re going to play pink tag. How do you play? Easy! You choose one person to be it. Everyone else runs away and they can only take a break in one of three pink safe zones (three trees with pink hearts attached to them). In order to be ‘safe’ from ‘It’, the person has to have one hand on the tree. Only one person can touch one tree at a time and they can only stay there for ten seconds- and then they have to run again. You keep playing until everyone is tired.   What do you think?  I hope it keeps the little Webkinz busy!

Pretty Pink Take Home Bags

Cowabelle

Hey everyone! Cowabelle here with some super ideas for pink-themed take home bags. My BFF Roberta is going to help me out ( yay!).  Here’s what we’re putting in the bags:   Pink jellybeans – We’ve got some in strawberry, cream soda and bubblegum. Pink Ribbon Pink pot and a packet of pretty pink aster seeds Pink ‘Thank You!’ card Pink heart stickers Pink lollipop   I think it’s maybe the best treat bag I’ve ever made…and I’ve made a lot! I really hope everyone likes them. Do you have any suggestions for other things we could add to make our treat bags even better?
