Party Planner: Handmade t-shirts
What you need: - Plain white T-shirts - Textile paint in your favorite colors - Fabric pens - Paper towel What you do: 1. To create matching friendship t-shirts with your friends, lay each t-shirt flat on a sheet of newspaper. 2. One at a time, have your friends cover one of their hands with textile paint and put a handprint on the front of each t-shirt, adding more paint to their hand between shirts to make sure there is enough to create a bold handprint. 3. When each of your friends have added their prints to each shirt, have them sign next to their handprint with a fabric pen, being very careful not to smudge the handprints. 4. When paint is dry – usually after about 24 hours, most textile paint needs to be set with heat, so iron each shirt before you deliver them to your friends. 5. Now that you all have colorful matching shirts symbolizing your friendship, give each other a hand!
