Dear Webkinz Fans,
Two years ago we came up with an idea. An idea to make some big changes to Webkinz.com to prepare it for its second decade of online fun. That idea was affectionately known as Webkinz X. Our goal was to give your pets more life and more importance in your day-to-day Webkinz play, and furthermore, reward you for being a great caregiver to your family of pets.
After two years of hard work by the Webkinz team, including many long nights and weekends, Webkinz X has arrived.
What you will see is just the beginning. Over the next few months we will be dramatically increasing the ways to increase your Family Score, and teach your pets new requests so that you have more ways to care for them. It’s going to be a lot of fun for everyone, whether you’re a collector, a gamer, or just like playing in the room.
This first release of Webkinz X does have some issues. We have not made a release this large since… well since we first launched the game 10 years ago. Included in this release is a completely rewritten My Room. This new Room has built from the ground up to give us the ability to add new, exciting features to the Room, many of which you’ve been asking about for a long time.
As part of this rewrite, all 17,000+ items in Webkinz World had to be reworked for the new Room. While we got most of these items to work, some are not 100% perfect yet. Some items are not animating properly and other are missing their images. We know that these will be of concern to you, so we have a team dedicated to making these items right, and we will be making regular updates (every few days) until every item is done.
Please use the links below to see which items are not working properly. These pages will be kept updated with the latest information, so check them regularly. Additionally, some popular features are currently disabled (Pet Actions) or changed (Gardening) as we continue to make improvements to our new Room. All of these features will be returning to how you know and love them. Thank you for your patience as we make these important and exciting changes to Webkinz World. The future has arrived!

If you cannot log in OR if you are logging in and seeing a frozen screen, please follow these steps:
1) Clear your cache (especially in Chrome). Click here to learn how or on your Chrome browser tab, hit Options>History>Clear History>Clear Cache.
2) Check that your Flash Player is up to date.
3) Re-type your password in the login box to light up the Log In button. Saved passwords won’t light it up until you re-type it.
4) Try a new browser.

Dear Ganz, Thank you for all of the hard work you have put into this epic project. I can’t beleive that you’ve had this idea for two years and NEVER let on any hints or anything! You guys are awesome secret keepers ;P. Even though it’s not perfect yet, I know it will be. I know that even tomorrow when it’s unveiled it will be amazing, even though it’s not totally finished. It may be a bit scary for some people, but it’s really not! It may look a little different, but our pets will still be around, and isn’t that why we joined Webkinz in the first place? For sure a big thanks for all of the hard long work you guys have put into this. I sort of freaked out when I first logged in and had a little freak out when my blue whale’s head wasn’t aligned with the rest of his body and his hammock wasn’t even there and I couldn’t garden and my pet dropped to 63 hunger in five seconds….. Sorry. I just needed to take a deep breath and calm down. Back to appreciating the team. It’s amazing how much work and thought you’ve put into this update and overhaul and though I will be freaking out for about a week know that you’re hard work is respected. I know I will grow to love what you’ve done. Besides every big project has a couple of kinks starting out. Just look at Pokemon X and Y. The Lumiose City glitch made your game not save! And Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire had one where if you beat the game you’re whole file would be deleted! Only having a few missing hammocks is something to be proud of! Great Job Ganz Team!

Me too. I put a negative comment up a little bit ago, but, while I meant everything said, I didn’t mean to seem ungrateful. I’ve been playing webkinz for a year ( my one year anniversary just passed. I was really excited to put my sweet elephant, Hestia, on my account.) and I’m not ready for a change. Especially one that has so many bugs and glitches. And, Starkinz, you said that some people think that this is scary, but it’s really not. I think that this is a complete matter of opinion, and that someone who is not scared of it, does not get to say that it is not scary. Someone who is scared of it might say that is is scary. Both of those people are correct, because, as I previously said, this is a matter of opinion. There is no right or wrong. Do you acually like the new Webkinz? I don’t like it because I think that is the reason why my computer is going slow. Things are cluttered everywhere, I have to scroll down to feed my pet, AND I have to click an move my finger on the touch pad to move to see my other rooms.
I despise X, it’s too much like mobile which I also despise. And I can’t play in the other languages e.g. Romanian, Korean, Russian, Chinese, Hebrew & Japanese….

For a while I was hesitating to try it, until I realized it is roughly the same. Thanks ganz, but can you PEASE somehow add Dr. Quack? I miss him soooo much! Maybe add something like another meter that has the webkinz overall health and if it is low the pet can get sick? (I don’t want them to get sick I’m just saying how we could get back Dr Quack:D)

With so very many items not working properly or missing, wouldn’t it perhaps be better to delay the big update until after at least most of them are fixed?

Hi Ganz, Can you please fix the Dock when I play games in the Arcade. In Some (not all) game, The Dock overlaps the bottom of the screen by a little and I can’t see what I’m clicking or running away from. Also can you please get rid of the energy meter it keeps me from having good health on any of my Webkinz. Please and Thank You

Did anyone else see the new nuts and bolts plushies in spree? Sooooo adorable! I think that once all my items are fixed, especially the plushes and campkinz things, ill be happy with webkinz again. I like some of the updates, but they run really slow on my poor old xp computer. (No xp is not a face, its the type of computer…) :)

UGH! I know right! I have not actually been on webkinz x yet, due to the green webkinz sign for two days, and THEN the greyed out log in, due to the green webkinz sign for two days AND THEN the greyed out log in, and I have tried everything u guys suggested! anyway, between the complaints from other users and what I have seen of webkinz x on here, i’m so unhappy with it. are u guys at webkinz finally going to stop UPDATING this perfect game at year ten??
this is kinda like when there is a video game you really like, but then they force you to buy the newer version, and you end up qutting because the newer version tried so hard to make it so much better but really just ended up messing it all up!

I was wondering the same thing. Also, I can’t chat, at all! I have kinz chat plus and it won’t let me click the bar to type! It won’t even let me use the emoji faces. Even regular kinz chat won’t work. And for some reason, I’m not able to play Alyssa’s Star Challenge. Does anyone else have these problems? I had liked the idea of Webkinz X, but didn’t know it came with a heaping side of problems.
P.S. Even though I’m experiencing difficulty with Webkinz at the moment, I still love Webkinz. Thanks to all the Ganz staff who are working hard to solve these problems. <3

Gennelle, please HELP! How can we sign in to Webkinz X? There is no longer a “Log In” button. I clicked the “PLAY” button. The only option I’m given is to set up a new account. The “Log In” option is grayed out and nothing happens when I try to click on it. I was kicked out earlier today as I was about to do my gardening. Please also explain what the issue is with the gardening action. Thanks.

I’m on Google Chrome, on a Chromebook, and this is my advice for Chrome users: 1) If you’re getting a green log in screen that looks really basic, clear your cache/cookies by clicking the the bars, going to settings, and search “cache” (ctrl+F). 2) If you have autofill on and the log in button is grayed out, go to your username, backspace the last letter, and retype it. The autofill should pop back up, and the log in button usable. Worse case scenario, just retype it.
We use Chromebooks in School!!!
i just received a package i’d sent from my TweeDL account at my Avzora account. i’d sent three modern fridges, but i only received one of them. Been doing that On Chrome too, and the button never lights up so i cant log on, and the page ,the entire page vibraates and shakes /flashes, its is very ODD, SO i can get on through Firefox, but cant do my marshmallows or my other challenges, Hopefully we will have more time to finish our challenges , I like it so far, Oh yeah I can not put berries in my jars , or do my wish tokens, when i click on those items to drag n drop them the screen turn completely white. Hope Ganz fixes it soon, i miss my pets ,And my Grandkid’s miss theirs too! Thanks , Vinnysaur4709
Hello Alonnia, I have Chrome as well. I found where we do the Marshmallows. Click on “Things to do” then choose the “Kinzville” icon – it’s on the top row 6th item over. When you do this, you will see the “Marshmallow” challenge. I hope this helps. Kathy
If you have the autofill and your WW id is shown and the stars for the password, ten hit the TAB button and the actual LOG IN button will be able to be clicked.

I don’t know what’s going on. It’s happening to you, me, and a bunch of other people. I’ve seen a grand total of ONE person speak!!! It’s a glitch, and hopefuly it’ll be fixed tomorrow during the shutdown. So, you’re not alone. And it should be fixed soon. Hope this helps! Have a great day!
yeah, I use to have internet explorer. And just last week I got Google Chrome. And it is still not running smoothly on my computer :( And I have Windows 8!
I did clear my cache and tried 2 other web browsers. Still can not log in.
You have to type in your password, I had mine saved and the button was gray for me also. I had to type the password myself to get it to work.
This happened to me. When the play button is grayed out, I just hit the enter key on my keyboard and it automatically connects me. When I use an account that isn’t saved, then the button isn’t grayed out.
I TOTALY Agree with you spottyorange14! I might miss the way it used to be, when I stared many years back, but that can’t be helped! I mean I would have gotten tired of the game and quit! so changes are good! I’m glad ganz didn’t change EVERYTHING! that would have been TOOOOOOOOOOO much, but they changed the things that needed it! so I just want to thank ganz for all the hard work they put into Webkinz X, THANK YOU GANZ!

I have a few questions, how do you access the marshmellow collection and is it possible to slow down the pets hunger!? It seems like that is all I am doing is feeding my pet, no matter how big and expensive the food I am feeding it it is still is hungry, it is starting to make webkinz a lot less fun. I hope you take this into consideration on July 14. But besides that webkinz X IS AMAZING!
The Collection is on your Map of Kinzville and yes, we’re aware that the hunger meters are a little off! We’re fixing that.
Thanks, Gennelle. The hunger meter IS going crazy & I’m glad you guys are going to adjust that. If a pet in real life ate as much as I had to feed my pets this morning, it would be sick! Also, as I watch my sweet pet contentedly sleeping in its bed, the pet icon is yawning as the sleep meter crashes. Aside from these 2 concerns, Webkinz X gets an A plus from me!

I just want to say I’m sorry for not being more patient. When i saw my comments recently i thought that i should’ve been more thankful and it is something that takes time. All the fixes must be overwhelming for the staff at Ganx sp Thank You all for your hard work.

I’m sure you are aware that I am missing several THOUSANDS of dollars worth of eStore items that I bought and paid for, and have several THOUSANDS of dollars worth of eStore items that do not perform as advertised. What *I* am not aware of is when my missing items will be restored and when my nonfunctional items will be working as advertised. I am seeking an actual date here. If you can’t give me an actual date, please advise me when my refund will be appearing in my mail box. My gosh, I do not understand why, if this Webkinz X was so not ready for prime time, you pushed ahead and forced it upon us. I am seriously contemplating never spending another dime at the eStore until all my items are returned and functional. I am seriously PEEVED here. >: (
Read the above article addressing this issues and check out the links of the items listed that are currently known not to work atm. The list changes as they fix things. If you have a non functioning item that is not in the list, let the team know as they indicate.
Um, your estore items are not guaranteed. The whole webkinz site is not guaranteed. If they wanted to, ganz could quit webkinz any time. It says so right on the back of every tag of every webkinz you buy. They will fix all the items I’m sure, but if they didn’t, I doubt you’d get a refund. It was your choice to spend money on virtual items.

I am in total agreement with you I am in the same situation as you are as of this date I have had nothing placed back in my rooms I have been on webkinz since 2007 so you know how much I have spent and the amount of work and time I have put into this I have over 200 rooms and pets and in every room are missing items.all the blank squares where the items were you cant put anything else in the space. The list you put on the page as things replaced no.I amIt a single one came to my account.Now I am spending more kinzcash to keep my pet fed. 8 years of work, time,and money I am a very UN HAPPY GRAND MOTHER AND WEBKINZ FAN. I hope things get back to normal soon. I dont know why they dont just release the heart prizes to our docks in good faith for all the problems and waste of time and money we are still having to put out and have not seen one thing fixed..I have nothing replaced to my rooms Good Luck to those who have had some things back to normall…cmsrockz

Does anyone know if my Flower Power Superbed will ever come back? Ever since Webkinz X came along, it has displayed as a Butterfly Dreams bed and still does. Even though it is pretty as the butterfly too, I do prefer the sunflower

Finally, the bed just turned back normal today. I still have a few grey box items, but since I’m not allowed to have estore, the majority of my items aren’t as complex, so I didn’t have as many like that to begin with anyways.

I think I might have a problem with my webkinz account. I no longer get my food of the day when I log into webkinz. This started when Webkinz X was going on. I haven’t gotten my food of the day for a few weeks now. I was waiting to see if it would be fixed but it still won’t give me my daily food. I was at first thinking that this probably was happening to a lot of people. But 3 of my friends who play webkinz said their food of the day always appears. Am I the only one this has happened to? Is there something wrong with my webkinz account? :,(
I haven’t received log in food for almost two weeks, any idea if this has been fixed?
Over a month later and I have used up soooooo much kinzcash trying to feed my pets!!! It is not fixed.
My pets’ energy meters are going down like crazy, just like yours are for their hunger meters! Also, I can’t seem to open my prize gift boxes without my screen going blurry and me having to exit the browser and restart!!
I’ve had the same problem with the gift boxes, fuzzy screen and all. Sure they will be fixing it before too long.
thank you Gennelle. It is really annoying. My pet is always hungry. I am glad you are going to change it. I like Webkinz X. I didn’t like it at first, expecialy that it took forever to load! I like it now. I hope you are going to fix the itemes soon. I had that really nice pond in my garden but you can only see a little of it. and I have a hot tub that doesn’t work. you can see it, but the pet just sits on the ground, not in it. I like the new clubhouse rooms! they are great!
Does anyone know how to fill up your pets heart? I play arcade games with them, take them to classes at the academy, do jobs with them, got to the clubhouse and it never fills up! Any suggestions? God bless, Silvermist03
Hi silvermist03. The heart gets filled gradually when the pet asks you to do something for them, and you fulfill their requests. Otherwise, the hearts don’t seem to respond to regular gameplay, but the pet’s happiness stat and the family score does seem to be affected by activities like games and shopping at the Wshop. At least this is what I have observed with my pets. :)
Whoops- At least it seemed like the family score was affected by playing games and the Wshop, but that doesn’t seem to always happen. :P But my pets seem to like shopping.
Using pools, trampolines, treadmills, baths, sinks … help to increase energy and thus Family Score. Responding to requests in a timely manner also helps big time.
Also, redecorating rooms! Although, it only does it for the first item……

In addition to meeting their needs, I have found these help: Bath = 5, treadmill=5, swim=5, trampoline=5…. seems to me so far each pet can gain these points only once per heart fill.
Using the sink is 5 too. Also, getting out of bed it you put them to bed before you logged out gives you ten, getting into bed is ten, maybe five I don’t remember. And you don’t actually have to give them a bath. Just getting in the bath tub and then clicking all done will give you the points.
Also putting them to bed ( = 10 pts.) will help your family score!!!

Trying a different browser is the best option. Make sure to re-type your password into the box even if it auto-completes. Also ensure that you’re using the latest version of Flash.

Hi Gennelle. I have not played Zumwhere in a while. I was banned from doing the zum catching thing. It is now deluxe for me. IDK what has happened! This has not happened with other accounts I know, but why am I the only one who has to bed Deluxe to play the Zum catching game. So not fair.

i really hate that after playing one game in the arcade, it drains all the energy and food levels down. i liked the old webkinz world better :( please fix the energy draining problem. and when my pet was hungry i fed it so much food but all it did was DROP the food level down too like what the heck!!! please fix these problemssss

Gennelle, I need help. When I play games in my pet’s room (Go Fish, Farming Frenzy) the game screen won’t show the top, so I can’t click on the “X” to quit. This is especially bad when my pet makes a request, as I can’t do it. Please fix this!

Ah, the wonders of rolling out a new launch! Someone get Nuts and Bolts a large pitcher of apple juice! (it is a better energy boost than coffee!)
I think maybe Nuts & Bolts could used something a bit stronger! And, a vacation when all is done.
I don’t know if this is on the list yet, but I have a “My Preserves Shelf” and when I try to use it, instead of being taken to the page with the jars where I can put berries in, it just loads the main arcade page. Thanks!

Okay, I’m not sure where to post this, buuuut, I have a BIG PROBLEM! I can log in, access all my pets EXCEPT one. I mean, I can access her from the pets list, but she’s NOWHERE in my room! and whenever I try to move her to a different room, the game freezes up and I can’t do anything. I don’t know how exactly it happened, but it happened yesterday. Please Help! She’s a love puppy named Ariana.
I’ve actually gotten that 3 times before Webkinz X, and whenever I relogged it would treat the pet as if I just adopted it. o.o’

BH1464, I was confused too. I clicked the “play” button and it gives you a choice to log in.
I clicked the “Play” button and did get to the screen for my user name and password, which I entered. The “Log In” option was a muted gray color and nothing happens when I try to click on it.
Try clearing your cache.
Yikes! I think Gennelle and the rest of the Webkinz World Team all deserve a huge pay raise and a really nice long vacation (hopefully soon!!!) Thank you all for being so helpful & so patient with all of us! ♥

I had the same problem. You must hit the Return key on your keyboard after putting in your Login info.
SO I have two inground pools and I can’t see either one even when I click edit! Ganz or anyone else do you guys have ANY advice??

Hi, the log in button was gray for me as well. I deleted my autofilled username and password and reentered them. This worked for me. I hope it may work for you! (btw, I use Chrome)
Yes My garden is incomplete and I can’t garden losing growing time I think? There is no instructions in help section. My rooms are not right, Stuff is just big gray squares like in the garden. I don’t like that my room map is to large. I can’t see nut a few sections at a time and I don’t like jumping in to room just to get somewhere?!!!!
You can drag your house map to jump across rooms…have you tried that? You won’t jump into a room until you select it AND click the jump button. Hope that helps you…
YEAH my garden showed up yesterday and is still there today. Now to put everything back. Maybe it is time to redo my garden room. I think I will wait a while until all the updates are complete.

I’m not sure if this is what your problem may be but I hope it helps…The Log In button doesn’t turn blue until you type in your username and password in the boxes. Then you can hit enter or click log in.

I may not be Gennelle but that happened to me two. What I did is deleted my username ( backspacing ) then I typed in my username and password again. Works for me everytime.
Guys, calm down! To log in, write out your username and pas$-word. If you have your username and pas$-word saved, click on the last dot of your pas$-word, and hit the space-bar. At the login screen, click on your username that’s already filled out and then press TAB on your keyboard.
The same thing happens to me; one way to solve the problem is to put your mouse in the password bar so that the line is blinking, then press enter.
Well actually if you get rid of one letter in the username or the password box and then put the letter you got rid of, then the box won’t be grayed out anymore. I promise I’m not lying. But if it doesn’t work for you, then I have no idea how to help you.
What happened to my Deluxe Membership? It doesn’t say Webkinz Deluxe in gold in the upper right corner but I can still do thing like vacation island…can some body help me I’m confused.

To be honest, I thought the update would be an improvement, and I tried to like it, but man…I think I’m on board with you. I can’t stand the fact that the pets are so demanding, and how fast their health meters go down; if you play just one Arcade game, the energy meter is cut down by almost half! And yet you still have to do it if you want the prizes, so you have to make a choice between your pet’s demands and your pet’s personal health. Plus, I can’t use the Arcade to make KinzCash as much as I used to anymore because now the Arcade cuts down health. This is especially bad because I have very little KinzCash, so I can’t buy enough food for my Webkinz’s rapidly-decreasing hunger meters! I’m gonna have to quit Webkinz, because playing the games seems more like a chore and less like actually playing now.

I agree, Fracktail. I thought there was going to be NEW in there. I really wish they had made Vacation Island available to Full Members. My friend just made an account yesterday, and I don’t think its fair that people with one (free) pet don’t get to do other stuff, like Kinzpost. I tried to send some mail, but it said you can’t send mail to Free Members, which isn’t fair, because people that JUST got on yesterday don’t have many items. GANZ, PLEASE CHANGE THIS, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (also, it seems as if the items in the w shop have gotten more expensive.)
I need help. When i click log in ( oh, speaking of the log in, I saved my password on Chrome, but now I have to re-type it to get the log in button to light up. What’s up with that. Do I really have to type my password every time?) when I clicked the button, the screen pops up ( it’s full screen now, and I have to resize which is a pain) and the little bar fills up, and then goes down and fills up again and again. I haven’t been able to actually log on all day! Does anyone know how to fix it? Or is this just one of many apparent glitches in webkinz x. I wish we were able to choose which version we wanted to play on/ I don’t really like the new home screen, either. And I’m sure most people think I’m a ” hater” now, ( I really hate that term. It’s called having an opinion!) but Webkinz x has given me no reason to like it. And I wouldn’t say all this except I’m hoping if Ganz hears enough complaints about the same problems, they’ll fix it.
I have the same problem with the saved password, so you’re not alone. I agree with you that people shouldn’t resort to calling anyone who opposes something a “hater” because as long as they don’t go berserk and start making personal attacks on people, having a negative opinion is perfectly okay. Unfortunately, I don’t think GANZ will back down with the new changes; a lot of people didn’t like the new W-Shop, and it hasn’t changed since the makeover.

I remember the old Clubhouse rooms, too…I’ve actually tried to replicate the first Garden Yard in my own Webkinz house. All I need is one more of those red mushroom tables, and it’ll be complete! I also miss when the old characters (like Henrietta Hippo, Fluffington, Ms. Birdy, Goober, Booger, and Chef Gazpacho) got featured in stories and such instead of the ‘Kinz. (Personally, I prefer the old characters to the ‘Kinz.)
Who the heck is Jerry the Frog?? And what’s Bamboo Break??
Jerry the Frog was an unused character who was going to host the W-Shop during “Super Sales”. However, since the idea of Super Sales was scrapped, so was Jerry. You can still find him judging stuff in Webkinz, though, like contests at the Stadium and Supermodelz at the Tournament Arena. Bamboo Break was a Tetris-type game that used to be at the arcade, but it was retired. Hope that helped!

Speaking of old things…when did they change Ms. Birdy’s voice? It sounds extremely off-putting now…she’s nothing like the gentle caretaker she used to be. It feels like GANZ is trying to make an effort to be more “modern”, but in doing so they’re abandoning the little things that made the site so charming in the first place. :S

Honestly webkinz X has gotten more fun as I’ve played around with it for a bit:) it has major issues as we’ve all noticed but the Ganz team will fix it:) for now we should just give them a bit of a break and focus on what we do like a a note what should be fixed :) together we can do this!
I kind of agree with you, but I don’t think I’ll be quitting. At least not until they say they’ve tried to fix some of the bugs. If they say they have and nothing has changed, then I’ll quit the site. I agree that per health drops too fast, and I tried to access my Dock in the Arcade and it wouldn’t show up. Those are my biggest concerns.
I didn’t notice the dock problem in the arcade…that could be a problem when playing Jumbleberry Fields, but I’m sure it’ll be patched soon. The glitches aren’t really the deciding factor for me though, it’s more that I’m not a fan of the gameplay as a whole.
It is a huge problem in Jumbleberry Fields. I tend to have a bunch of full jars on each account because I don’t need the items, so the berries pile up in my docks. When I pick a prize, I usually have enough berries in the dock to fill the jar right up again. Now, I will have to scroll up with each berry 100 times to fill a jar since the dock is so far down the page in the arcade!!! So very not pleased about that. :(
I agree with you. First off it took me a while to get on in the first place and when I got on it was slowed down. Another thing that I do not like is that your pet gives commands. Why are our pets giving commands to their owners?? Especially when we don’t have much money because I don’t feel like every 2 minutes buying something for my over pampered pet. Also, when I logged on like a minute after I clicked on a floating webkinz box and then I just happened to look up and see my kinzcash all of the sudden dropping to zero. It might have been a glitch, but that is not fair because it takes forever to earn back money because your pet has a need every 2 minutes to buy something. And I am not sure if this is happening to anyone else, but when I went to my kinzpost and I was going send a gift to someone and I tried food, clothing items and nothing worked it just kept on saying “Sorry, this item cannot be sent.”, what you cant give people presents anymore? Sorry for being harsh it is just hard to compliment the changes when they just made a game that I had played forever not fun.
In retrospect, I feel like the pet commands are rather redundant, since we already had the Zums…if we wanted to play in that style of following the pets’ needs, we could have just played with the Zums, an used the other mode with our regular pets. That way, people really could choose which mode they wanted to play in. Now, both Zums and Webkinz are equally demanding, so there isn’t as much freedom.
I think I’m gonna quit too even though I have 2 accounts and have been playing since 2009. It looks horrible. I knew this before they even switched to Webkinz X. And now I can’t even play in Romanian anymore! I only am fluent in English but I prefer the Romanian site anyway. It was because of Webkinz that made me want to learn Romanian in the first place!

Exactly! I have been a user for nine years and I love my Webkinz more than almost anything else in this world. I have often spent hours playing with them every day, and I don’t even notice the hours go by. I have been playing Webkinz X for less than half an hour and I feel completely exhausted. I can’t take care of my pets the way I want to. They are hungry literally five seconds after I feed them, and after spinning the Wheel of Wow and making five wishes on the wishing well, I have to feed my pet five snacks and take them home for a nap. I don’t see how that’s realistic. GANZ, could you please fix this so that pets have a bit more stamina and playtime can be more fun?
Maybe they did it like this so we would appreciate our moms more. I mean, we were all little once, and we would demand things and get tired and want new stuff and be annoying. And now WE kinda know what it feels like. Kinda, and not fully, because we can always just log out or ignore them. Moms can’t do that. And real life little kids are even MORE demanding! (trust me, I have a 4 year old cousin and an 18 month old baby cousin, and we watch them a lot!! very demanding! well, the little one just keeps running around…..) Have a great day! XD

I am a grandmother.It is now the middle of August and I have not got any of my missing items back or my rooms fixed to where I can place other items all the items in my rooms are a mess and whe I try to arrange them they do not move .Some of my items do not work and have gray circles running on the out side of my room.I have a pet and room that freezes up when I try to use the room and pet. I am getting very upset I have been on webkinz since 2007 and have a lot of time and money invested in webkinz.I hate to think I have lost so many items,some can not be replaced.I have close to 100 pets and 200 rooms.I hope that I do hope this is fixed and I get my items back CMSROCKZ

I was going to post something similar. I have a lot of kinzcash because I have been playing for a few years, but I am trying to safe up so I can buy a lot of the deluxe items before my membership expires but I have had to buy 20 or more things of food. I used to be able to go three plus days without having to really feed my pets and be able to sell food but not anymore. I think Ganz needs to slow down the hunger so that we are able to save up for food as well as other aspects. The other thing is my pets have non stop asked to go shopping and I that is not fair.
Just buy an apple each time the W Shop request pops up! We all need food.
Ive been doing that, but they keep asking like right after I buy stuff for them. It is pretty much the only thing my webkinz like to ask for.
I have to admit that the shopping requests are annoying. But at least the rest of the requests are fun.
If your pet is demanding a “new outfit”, try just changing one item. I swapped out one hat for another (that I already owned) and it was enough to get “rewarded” for giving it what it wanted. Personally, I don’t like the constant demands. I would not reward a child for behaving this way, what is my motivation to be bossed around by a computer game? Very much not happy with this new “feature”.
Fracktail, I totally agree. Webkinz is not nearly as fun as it was. One of my friends may quit… :’( I thought Webkinz X would be boat-loads of fun… but now i’m not so sure… and yes, the pets are demanding. And their health meters keep shooting down! You guys really shouldn’t quit. For starters, it’s a new update and it’s not as easy to fix as you think, give them time so they can fix it and make it more fun. Secondly, you should really stop going over the deep end about quitting. I’m sure you’re upset as a lot of us are, but your comments are probably making the Ganz team a little bit sad too. No one likes to see dedicated members get angry or upset after they had tried to make the site better. In the mean time we can just help them out by staying positive and informing them of issues when we see them. I’ll admit, I’ve gotten angry too, but that’s not going to solve anything. So before you guys leave, give them some time to fix the site and then see if you like it. Change is hard I know, but you’ll probably see that this new update allows Ganz to do much more with their site. I hope you guys consider a lot of what I said and I hope to still see you playing in the future:) -KHN<3

When I said “the straw that breaks the camel’s back”, I meant that it was the final thing that made me consider quitting, not the single thing; sorry if I wasn’t clear! But like I said, the gameplay has changed in a way that just isn’t up my alley; I didn’t like it when the Zums did it, and I’m not a fan of it now. It’s just a matter of preference. If you like the new changes, then more power to you; it’s your account after all! But as for me, I’m going to have to wait and see if I still want to invest my time in the site. After all, it’s not like we’re moving out of our hometowns or anything; it’s just a computer game for people who want to play!

Yeah, This is why I wasn’t looking forward to this :P My Raziel Dragon wings I have on my pet Woods, are completely glitched out. It literally looks like a block sitting on his shoulders. I don’t like the home page to well, and I really don’t like on how everything pretty much looks like the mobile app. Sometimes new ways aren’t going to help make things better, speaking for this. I am also having some problems, when I went to the Kinzchat Plus Park, I could not speak at all. Along with my wings problem, I really do not like Webkinz X. That’s just how I feel. This is exactly why I wasn’t looking forward to this. § you did a great job with making all these updates and informing us about these problems that are occurring, thank you for keeping us in the know about the steps you took to make this update! What I like the most: Being able to have a bigger icon of our pets! What I like the least: Probably, that our pets now say our names… I am NOT a big fan of this at all. Probably because 1. It some-what creeps me out, 2. The beginning letter of my name is not capitalized, eh that’s okay though. And I wish our pets would not constantly be demanding stuff! Gah first minute you want food, the next playing a game! I surely will miss the old features, map, and well, dock etc. I really wish that Webkinz did not look like the mobile app. Just because of these changes I am not quitting. But if we recall back in 2007 I think it was, they did a major update and everyone had issues. I was so little then though I didn’t notice much. Gennelle, I don’t know what to do. I’m really sorry, but I just don’t like Webkinz X. I was worried about this from the very beginning. I used to play a different website that was almost just like Webkinz. It was very fun. (but DEFINITELY not as fun as webkinz!) Then it had a big update. the new update had deleted ALL the fun. I had to quit. I was worried this would happen to Webkinz. Once you gave us all the sneak peeks, I was eXcited. but then, it turned out kinda bad. I don’t know what to do, Quit, abandon all my pets, my awesome rooms, my friends, or stay on with demanding pets, and not working items. But it might be better to just have the Ganz team fix all these things.
Maybe wait a few weeks before deciding? We’re working on fixing a lot of issues that players are talking about today, plus a lot of things take some getting used to.
Gennelle, I need help. When I log on, it just keeps reloading and reloading. Like when you first log on and that little bar fills up with the rainbow loading thing, and then your pet and house and everything pop up? That little bar just fills up and goes down and repeats forever. All the ads reload every time to, so I know it’s not just stuck. Is there anything I can do to fix it? God bless, Silvermist03

I’d love some info on how the gardening will work. All mine said today was “not ready for harvesting”, and I couldn’t find a way to take care of my gardens. On the plus side, there were no weeds but I wasn’t able to do any watering. Also, will the hunger rate be fixed? It seemed like I just had to keep feeding and feeding with little improvement and then a fast drop back down to nothing. It seems unfair that the demand rate for things and food is so high that many may end up leaving the game because they can’t afford all the food and item demands.
Do you want us to tell you the glitches we find? Or do you want to figure them out yourself?
I agree with so many others that the pets are WAY too demanding! There is no way to keep up with all the food and clothes, etc requests. It is more like a chore then a game now. Very sad because it is no longer fun. I hope the fact that pets are SO demanding is one of the things you are planning on fixing. They should not need more then 3 of their particular foods per day and my pet had over 6 and still wanted more! Plus other foods. It is crazy. There is just no way to save for special things. I was planning on buying more webkinz but will not now because it is no longer fun. If these things are fixed I may reconsider though.
The KinzStyle Outlet is taking double the kinzcash when you purchase an item there. I bought the relaxed sandles for 120 but 240 was taken from my kinzcash total. Please have this fixed. Thanks so much!

Yeah, WebKinz is not as fun anymore with all of the pets asking for things. I took care of all of my pets and had them happy, then later when I came back on, they were all sad. And they eat a ton! Have to use a lot of money to keep feeding them. Don’t like having to do what they want if I really want to do something else. It’s a bummer. Not liking WebKinz X!
i agree with you on THEY ARE WAY TO DEMANDING how ever i dont have an issue with buying things becuase before webkinz x i never really spent my kniz cash so i have like a million bucks in kinz cash my issue was my pets said “i want to play in the arcade”. I played the leaping lama game and the request box WAS STILL THERE and nothing happened also PLEASE FIX THE CLOTHING AREA it takes way to long to flip through the dock to get a dress i used to be able to go to coupons and coins and click the back arrow to get to the cool stuff
They only ask when the 1st pet Heart care is done. This will happen again but not right away till your pets are all done. Changeing outfit may be just adding “glasses” sometines buying a table but its the least expensive . I have 91 pets so this happens about every 15 min to me. When money gets low I have to sell something I have a lot of . Use a coupon on a GALACTIC SCREEN and make it way less but remember it sells for HALF so use a BIG COUPON ! Shop WISE ;) sell careful .

I want the old Webkinz back I used to have fun on Webkinz and now all I have on Webkinz is problems it’s so hard to do everything I can’t even see half of the page and it’s aways freezing up I have over 50 and I don’t want to just walk away from this game now it’s just hard to play on a game that is always giving u a problem evey second u play with your pet he’s happeness level goes down bring back the GOOD Webkinz the Webkinz that was here for 10 years PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ~YumSoda

HELP!!!!!!!! all of my money is gone! I was on Webkinz on the 9th and had 7101 kinz cash I went back on the next day when Webkinz X came out and I had NO kinz cash! I very very SAD about this and I’m very sure when I loged out of Webkinz I had’ent spent any of the Kinz Cash. GENNELLE PLEASE HELP ME :’( ~ A very SAD Rarity505

I just want to say… Thanks so much § for putting so much work into this! I think people are really going to like it more then they think they will. This must take a lot of hard work and patience! Keep up the great work!

The update is going to be on Deluxe Day :( Can GANZ please tell us, is it normal for the “Hearts” to go all the way back down every night? I know we are only twelve days into it and all of us are learning! Adults and kids alike, but it seems just when I think our accounts are moving forward things go wrong again. Just wondering how all the fixing is going?

I really do love how they changed Webkinz! But, there is a few things that NEED to be fixed. Ever since it changed, I cannot access Kinzchat Plus. And also, when I feed any of my pets, the Hunger meter goes DOWN instead of Up! So the hunger meter is Always at 0 even if you feed them every piece of food in your dock. This does not just happen with me, it happens with many webkinz members. And one other thing, you cannot feed your pets on the webkinz mobile app either. Webkinz, please, please fix these issues, thank you so much! :D
well its um…… not so great because my pets are way more demanding than ever i am really crazy about the timer for what they want and went u play only 1 game you loose all your energy points and its very slow ……. loading its really impossible when you have 10 pets to take care of they ARE SERIOUSLY EATING MACHINES ALL OF THEM ARE HUNGRY EVERY LIKE 1 MINUTE I HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE AND BUY LOTS OF FOOD thats wasting all my kinzcash plz ganz fix??? ; (
i dont like webkinz x at all they should of kept it how it is the health runs out too quick so its really annoying like i feed my pet 10 banana they and still hungry!!!!!!!!!!
I really hope that they change webkinz back to the way it was before… You can’t even change your pet’s clothing in the clubhouse. I haven’t played much lately and I’m considering quitting if this doesn’t change.
Hi Ganz well im sorry but it just is not the same as the old webkinz I REALLY MISS THE OLD ONE and all my pets every since the new webkinz came out i have had many issues like VERY VERY damanding pets and them telling you wut to do ITS just i want the old one back im sure lots of other pets would like that too i have not played it since the new world came out i have started to play a different game and i dont think i will play webkinz anymore if they dont get the new one back i really miss all my pets and how i took good care of them in the other game im really sad ; ( please please please get the old one back i will play it again and im sure EVERYONE will like that thanks , syd5404 please ganz im very sad about all my money wasted for those pets and now i cant play …… ; ( please try all the pets are asking all mine are to they have not had any care for months im seriously crying for real ;(
