‘Tis the season to collect Candy Canes! The Candy Cane Collection is back and if you collect all 50, you’ll win a Home for the Holidays Piano as well as 4 other prizes along the way!
Here’s how to play: From December 1st – 31st, look for the Candy Cane Collection Icon on your Kinzville Map and click on it to see your collection. Everyday, you’ll get 1 free Candy Cane, just for clicking on the collection icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 free Candy Canes a day).
Once you have received your free Candy Cane, you can get 5 more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com.
UPDATE: Please collect your free Candy Cane from your Kinzville Map before getting your floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com. Some players have been experiencing issues with getting their free daily Candy Cane from the Map if they have collected the one from WebkinzNewz first.
Need more friends to help you complete your collection? Click the ASK FRIENDS button then click the NEED MORE FRIENDS? button to see other players looking for friends and add them to your Friends List.

Don’t leave your collection to last minute! You can complete your collection as many times as you like throughout the month of December so, the faster you collect, the more prizes you can win!

I am not able to ask friends for candy canes. I can select them, but nothing happens when I push Send. Is there something wrong? Is anyone else having trouble?
Please try hiding your dock when you next try to send requests.
I love the collection events–I have awesome friends who don’t seem to mind if I ask them for items every day (thanks, guys; you’re the best!) :-) For some reason, though, I haven’t received daily candy canes for clicking the icon; so I can only add the candy canes from my friends…is this just me?
A purple Santa hat? Woo hoo!!! Purple is my favorite color! I hope I can get a few of these!
I collected a candy cane yesterday at the News site but was never credited in the Webkinz site?!!?

Sally Webkinz, I am having the same problem as Elibear with the two candy canes that were supposed to be awarded for Deluxe not showing up so I know it is not an isolated incident. I to only received 1 from Webkinz News and 1 from a friend.
I’ve seen people say that if they don’t collect their Candy Cane from the map first, it won’t be received. Until it’s fixed, please visit the map to collect your daily Candy Cane before getting one from Webkinz Newz.

Gosh its been a while since I’ve done one of these collections. Last one I did was the Mega Collection which was Raziels. I’m definitely going to this one. I love the prizes! My favorites are the first three!
I can not find/see the candy canes on my map. Is anyone else having this problem?
