Colored sand in a bottle

What you need:

-          Small glass bottles with lids, cleaned and dried well

-          Sand

-          Chalk, in a variety of colors

-          Wax paper

-          Funnel

What you do:

1.       Sprinkle some sand on wax paper. Roll over sand with chalk until sand is coated in color. Transfer to plastic container. Repeat process with different colors of chalk, until you have several containers of sand in a variety of colors.

2.       Using funnel, pour one color of sand into your glass bottle. Turn the bottle to the side slightly to get an interesting angle, and then add another color of sand.

3.       Keep adding different colors until the bottle is filled to the very top. (If you leave any air in the bottle, your colors will shift more easily.)

4.       Put lid on tightly.

Hey! Has anyone logged on to webkinz today and saw the newzpaper, because it says that there is a new beach room theme! Is it estore or wshop, because it looks estore, and wkn doesn’t say anything about a new theme. Does anyone know about this? I’m confused and I want to get the theme, its really cute! Please help!

      • Answering Questions says:

That is not a theme. It’s a party room from the party pack in the WSHOP. The room consists of Estre, PSI, and Wshop. Also, the ice cream machine, you can’t get anywhere.

        • Mad Cows Are Awesome says:

Thanks answering questions, if anyone else can answer my next question, I’ll be forever happy! Maybe…:) Okay, so my question is when you put the party room pack into a room, do you get an entirely different room, or do you get the furniture in your dock and get to customize your room? I might throw a party too, so if you want to answer my question, put your username too and I’ll invite you!

          • ayjay girl says:

when you put the party pack in your room you can set up a party and invite your webkinz friends and it completely changes your room for 30 minutes unless you end the party early then when the party is over your room turns back to exactly what it was before and how it was decorated before so you don’t actually get any thing like furniture or room themes from it you just get the prizes at the end of the games which are usually things like balloons or food etc.

          • OneVerse says:

Mad Cows Are Awesome, no you don’t get a new room, you just get taken, when it’s time for the party to start, to a room set up to the party’s theme. When the party is done, you go back to your house with a loot bag. And a piece of cake, if you hosted the regular party, not the at home pack. The at home pack is a party in the room you set it up in. You can play games and get a loot bag with that pack, but no cake.
            Hope this helps!

if you put it in a jar, then take something long and skinny like a wooden skewer and push down the sand on the edges, you get a curve and it looks kinda cool :D
