What you need:

• 2 cups butter, softened
• 2 cups white sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 6 cups flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 bowls
• Sprinkles
• Icing sugar
• Water

What you do:

1. In one large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
3. Stir flour, baking powder, and salt into sugar and egg mixture.
4. Cover, and chill dought overnight.
5. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 400 degress F.
6. With rolling pin – roll out dough on floured surface 1/4 inch thick.
7. Using your favorite character cookie cutters – cut as many cookies as you can.  Roll up scrap pieces of dough and place in refrigerator.
8. Place cookies 1 inch apart on cookie sheets and bake 6 to 8 minutes.
9. Repeat step 7 and 8 until you use all the dough.
10. Once all cookies have cooled, completely mix icing sugar and water to make a paste.
11. Cover cookies with icing and sprinkle with favorite color sprinkes.
