Well, campers, it’s with a heavy heart that I sign off after my first summer as a C.I.T. at Camp St. Bernard. It has been an eventful trip – who knew Ivy had such a mischievous side to her? Poor Dacey has recovered from her injury and so has Stoogles. Roberta’s ghost story totally freaked out the girls at the campout in the woods. And the boys’ campout on the beach? Well, no one got much sleep that night with them chanting campfire songs at the top of their lungs all night! I’ll bet you could hear them across the lake.
Games Day was a huge success – even Roberta had fun! The campers are loaded up with all the cool crafts that Kimmy helped them create. I’m wearing my new pennant necklace and all the campers are dashing around frantically trying to exchange friendship pins with each other before it’s time to go home. And the whole camp looks like new after Hailey and Elwin got their hands on it! My favorite makeover was the girl’s cabin. Pink is pretty but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing!
Cowabelle put on a fabulous play with the help of almost the whole camp – she is so talented. I can believe she wrote and directed a whole play herself!
I’ve learned so much this summer from Kimmy, Amanda and PJ. I can’t believe PJ and I fought last month – we laughed so much while we planned the Games Day together. She has taught me a lot about leadership and responsibility – she’s so good with the kids.
I was pretty nervous about being a C.I.T. but I think I did a pretty good job. I hope the kids had as much fun at Camp St. Bernard as I did.
camp sounds like lots of fun i hope they do it next year
What?…. This is the last one!!! :”( ….. *Sigh* I hope they do this again next year.

Well all in all it sounds like everyone had a great time and if they learned any lessons it was to be yourself and always be kind to others. Hope next year’s camp will be as much fun. Thanks for all the good letters and problem solving questions from someone who could not got to camp, it was almost like being there!!! See ya next year?
