Foiled Wrapped Campfire Caramel Apples

What you need:

-          Aluminum foil

-          Apples

-          Caramels

-          Adult assistant

What you do:

1. Cut two square of aluminum foil about twice the size of the apple.

2. Peel and core your apple. Set it on the two squares of foil.

3. Stuff as many unwrapped caramels as you can fit into the middle of the apple.

4. Wrap apple in foil – not too tightly. Place wrapped apple in the warm embers around the edge of the fire (don’t put it directly into the fire!) and bake for about 20 – 30 minutes, turning 5 minutes.

5. Apples are done when they are soft to the touch.

This sounds delicious! I will try it tomorrow after we buy caramels. Maybe we should make some caramel soup too. No, I guess not.

Hm… I like both Winter and Vanilla, but they are both kind of original. Yeah, my pet’s name (Marshmallow) is original too, but I wish it wasn’t so original. These are just suggestions for your Polar bear, but you could name her: Snow White, Snow Queen, Winter Mist, or Wintilla (combination of Winter and Vanilla). ~Hi~ :) :D ;)

I think you should name her Vanilla! Here’s another name you could use, but you don’t have to: Klondike, as in like the ice cream sandwich thing. The one with the logo that’s a polar bear. ;) ~Webkinzgirl78~

I just made an apple almost like this but instead of using caramel candies we put in butter and brown sugar and it tasted great – almost like apple pie!
