Green Tip 5 from Salley: Saving Energy

Hey all! It’s Salley again, with one more green tip: how to save energy!

The easiest way is to turn off the lights (or any electronic devices) when you’re not in a room. Also, turn off the water when you’re brushing your teeth.

Another great way to save energy is to take your bike or walk instead of driving.

What other energy-saving ideas can you think of, friends?

I agree, long baths are relaxing. What’s good about a bath is that the water isn’t constantly running, unlike showers. But, on the other hand, you do have to keep the water on long just to fill the tub for a bath… hmmm…

I SO AGREE WITH YOU NO NAME! Turn off lights when no one’s in a room! Don’t leave the sink running or dripping, shut it all the way! *~Ruchirock~*

Those are great ways to save electricity! Also, you can take shorter showers. I agree, MDIChickadee, every little bit helps! ♥

Unplugging chargers once your device is fully charged is a great way to save electricity! ~CC~

  8. MDIChickadee says:

My mom makes us unplug chargers after a device is fully charged. So when my cousin is visiting and his laptop is fully charged, he removes it from the charger AND unplugs the charger. Every little bit helps! All the best! MDIChickadee
