Dear Diary,
You’ll NEVER believe what happened today: my best friend, Laurabeard, showed up at my house at noon. We hadn’t planned to do anything together, but I was really happy to see her. She was…nervous. I invited her in and got out some snacks, but she just fiddled with the carrot sticks and dip, and didn’t really eat anything. Then, all of a sudden, she blurted out:
“Nibbles, I’m going to be going away for awhile. Like, away from Kinzville. For more than a month.”
And I choked on the celery stick I was eating.
When I stopped coughing, I asked what in Webkinz World she was talking about.
Well, apparently Dogbeard is headed out on yet another fantastic voyage – only this time, he’s invited his whole family to join him. He said he needed some ‘extra paws on deck.’ So Laurabeard is going.
She’s really, really excited. But sad because she’ll be gone for at least three months. And it could be longer, depending on how things go.
She’s not even sure she’ll be back for Plumpy’s wedding (whenever that will be).
I can’t believe it. First my sister gets engaged. Then my best friend decides to take off and explore Webkinz World.
I know, on a sensible level, that I should be happy for both of them.
But really? I just feel kind of…sad.
I’m sure it’ll be OK. I just wish things weren’t changing so fast.

I’m so sorry Nibbles! Try to keep in touch with your sister and whoever sent the thing about the going away party, that is a great idea!!!

Hey Nibbles it will all get better! Maybe you should talk to Wiggles because he’s loosing plumpy his best friend just like you’re with Laurabeard!!!! Maybe you two could be friends!

Nibbles i know what its like my family moved i long time ago but my old BFF comes down once a year so its not all that bad
wow looks like Nibbles is in a very taught situation. But, you know, both ways could be fun, if you think about it. while Laurabeard is gone, you can still hang out with some other Kinz and think about what an awesome time your BFF is having! and when she comes home, you get to hear all about her trip! and maybe, just maybe, she will bring you back something awesome!! And about your sister, Plumpy, you are happy for her, right? I mean she is getting married and you get to have a new awesome family with her husband! and you get to go to her wedding and party and thats always fun and you know it!! you see, Nibbles? things aren’t so bad when you look at the bright side! you will see your friend in no time and you can tell her all about the cool and fun things you both did! hope this helps :)
