Leo Birthday Card Craft

Make a bright birthday card for your favorite Leo!

What you need: Neon papers in different colors (orange, yellow, green, blue, pink), brown paper, white paper, ribbon-shaped sequins, craft glue, bright ribbon, thin black marker, colored markers, scissors

What you do:

1. Cut out a wavy circle from the bright orange paper – this is the lion’s mane.

2. Cut out a lion head (a circle with two ears) from the yellow paper.

3. Cut out a triangle and a mouth from the brown paper.

4. Cut out two bright green rectangles and one pink rectangle.

5. Fold your bright blue paper in half. This is the card. Glue on one green rectangle at the top, and a green and pink rectangle at the bottom.

6. Glue the ribbon below the upper rectangle.

7. Glue the lion’s mane down in the middle of the card. Glue on the lion’s face. Add the ribbon sequins around the lion’s face, on the mane.

8. Add on nose and mouth. Cut out two eyes from the white paper and glue them on.

9. Write “Happy” on the top green rectangle and “Birthday” on the bottom rectangles. Color them in if you like.

10. Write a nice message for your favorite Leo on the inside of the card, and attach to a pretty gift (Leos like presents)!
