I know everyone gets colds. I know they’ll go away after about a week. But that doesn’t mean they’re any fun in the mean time. I’m so sick, you guys! I woke up this morning with a terrible sore throat and a cough. My eyes are burning and my head is aching. And my nose won’t stop running. Plumpy took one look at me and said I was missing school. I know SOME kids would be really happy about that (Sparky, for one), but me? No. I hate missing school. I especially hate it when I have to stay home and feel horrible. Everyone is probably having a great time at recess, playing in the snow. Me? I’m stuck on the couch, doing crosswords and blowing my nose. Which is really sore, by the way.
Ugh. I can’t wait to feel better.

yeah,I know how bad is it to have a sore throat. It usually goes away with drops or candies (even Ice cream, but it`s winter…)

I get colds a lot, so I know how you feel. I’m homeschooled, so I don’t miss school with a cold though.

I know how you feel. I have a cold too. I get one every winter. I wonder why that is?
Anyway, when I went to the doctor, she thought I had pneumonia! LOL!!!
