What you need:
- Several smooth, clean rocks (about the size of a computer mouse)
- Acrylic paint in a variety of colors
- Paint brush
- Water
What you do:
1. Choose a base color and cover your rock with paint.
2. Allow the first coat to dry and with a small paintbrush paint a decorative pattern on your rock.
3. You can paint flowers, or turn your rock into a large bug, or just create a random pattern of swirls. You can individualize the rocks for each of your friends.

Those look very lovely. I would put some sort of a message on there for my friend. Something like, “Best Friends Forever!”
Words on a rock is a great idea! You could get a bunch of rocks and put one letter on each. They could form a short sentence or something. -*Dawnstar*
