What you need:

-          Large open pinecone

-          Peanut butter OR shortening

-          Bird seed

-          String

What you do:

1. Tie one end of your string to the base of the pinecone.

2. Tie a loop in the other end of the string for hanging.

3. Fill a bowl with bird seed.

4. Smear your pinecone with a generous amount of either peanut butter or shortening. Roll pinecone in bird seed until completely coated.

5. Your feeder is ready to attract some feathered friends!
