Hey, it’s Roberta and guess what? Babies aren’t actually as bad as I thought! I know things didn’t exactly go well with Molly’s cousin, but I was telling PJ Collie about how awful it was and she said that all babies are different and I shouldn’t judge them all by one bad experience. She said some babies are shy and don’t like being away from their mothers but that doesn’t mean they’re not perfectly nice kids. I don’t know – I will reserve judgment on that one.
Anyway, PJ said that she often babysits for her neighbor and that they have the cutest little baby boy who is not too shy with new people. I thought she was going to ask me to go along with her but she actually asked if I wanted to take over and babysit one night. She said she would give me a good reference and that she would be right down the road if I needed her help.
So I did it and guess what? He really was the cutest thing – like EVER. He giggled at pretty much everything I did. Feeding him was kind of gross but also hilarious. He loved to bash his spoon into his plate of mush (I think it was apricots, but to me it was mush) and splatter it all over his high chair.
After he ate we played on the floor with some of his toys. He had this one toy where you drop a ball into a hole on the top and then it rolls out one of the holes at the bottom. Every time it came out a different hole he laughed and laughed. It was so cute.
After that he started to get kind of fussy so I figured it was time to put him down for his nap. I fed him a bottle and he fell asleep in my arms. He looked like such a little angel I didn’t want to put him down. After sitting like that for a while I set him down in his bed very gently. He stirred a bit but he didn’t wake up. Then his mom and dad came home, and they paid me 10 KinzCash. So not only did I get to have a fun evening with the cutest baby, I made some KinzCash too!
Babies are pretty cute after all. I just hope we get a good one like this little guy and not one like Molly’s cousin.
