I thought of a really neat idea for my grandpa today – a homemade bookmark! My poppa loves to read, so this is perfect for him. Want to make one for the bookworm on your list?
What you need:
Cardstock in two colors, embroidery thread in two colors, one-hole punch, ruler, scissors, craft glue
What you do:
- Cut out a rectangle that’s 8 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.
- Cut out another rectangle that’s 9 inches long and 2 inches wide.
- Mount the smaller rectangle on the larger one.
- When the glue is dry, punch a hole at the top of the rectangle.
- Take your embroidery thread and cut six pieces; three of each color. Each piece should be four inches long.
- Put your embroidery threads through the hole and tie a knot at the bottom of the threads.
- Decorate your bookmark to suit the recipient of the gift.
I love these book-marks. They are the cutest. Can you use regular copy paper for them?

It is this thing that Ganz does on the Webkinz My Page. Every day there is a different ”Member of the Day”. I think they just pick an account to be member of the day. It is like where you can get tons and tons of comments and tons and tons of friends. And my meganlovescheetahs account is member of the day. On my 1000Silverstar account, I commented on my meganlovescheetahs account and in less than 20 minuets, there was 30 more comments. -Moonstar◙◙◙

Cool bookmark! Believe it or not, I LUV glitter. I’m like a super tomboy (which means I have more guy friends then girl friends and I play football LOL) but I just luv glitter and sparkles. BUT I do hate pink. Well I do wear it sometimes, but I like purple and black better. ;) What are your guys favorite colors?

I get free bookmarks from the library because I love reading and i visit alot. :mrgreen: The bookmarks have all the new movies on them. Theres no trophy for it because I was the member of the day in July and I didnt get one.

my favoritccolors are pink, lavender, light blue, aqua, and silver. and a little of black. Moonstar, i think it will come sometime soon but I dont know exactly when. Hope you get it when it comes out. Im getting the pionsettia lion soon.
