Salley Cat: Detention, Day 2

Ugh, I can’t believe how slowly this week is going! I think it’s mostly because of the detentions. They’re awful. For half an hour after everyone else has gone home, I’m stuck with Purr-Cilla doing some kind of boring chore that Ms. Cowoline comes up with. Today? Today we had to polish the trophies in the trophy case. Purr-Cilla ‘accidentally’ dropped the bowling trophy and it nearly hit me on the paw. Fortunately, I got out of the way just in time. When we were finally done (it seems like the Kinzville Academy has won a trophy for just about EVERYTHING, so there were a lot to do), Purr-Cilla told Ms. Cowoline that she can’t possibly do detention tomorrow because she has a dentist appointment after school. Ms. Cowoline said that was fine, she could just help clean up the lunch room for fifteen minutes after lunch tomorrow. But I still had to report for detention.

Can you believe that? I think I’m going to get my mom to schedule some kind of appointment for Thursday.

I cannot wait for the weekend.

Sally, that “appointment” that Pur-Cilla had was FAKE! She lied about it to get out of detention. I would tell Mrs. Coweline soon, she says she is going to possibly lie again!

Salley, don’t think of it so much as a punishment. Its not your fault that Purr-Cilla doesn’t get along well with others, but remember to love your enemies and do to others as you’d like them to do to you. And think of it more as a school assistant job. Do your best at it because you’ll make Ms. Cowoline happy and that in turn should make you happy.
