I can’t believe that Purr-Cilla! She came to detention tonight five minutes late, and then said to Ms. Cowoline “I think I’m going to be sick, my stomach hurts so much.” She DID look a bit pale, but it was hard to say if it was because of sickness or makeup! No matter, Ms. Cowoline looked really worried and told her to go home and feel better. Me? I got to wash all the blackboards in the school! This is where things got interesting. When I was in the grade seven classroom, I looked out the window and saw a whole bunch of kids playing in the school yard. Including Purr-Cilla.
She was sliding down the hill and giggling and laughing and she seemed to be feeling absolutely, 100% fine.
I threw my washing rag into the bucket of water and stomped down to Ms. Cowoline’s office.
I told her what I saw, and Ms. Cowoline looked REALLY angry.
She looked out the back door of the school and saw Purr-Cilla for herself.
Then she did something strange. She said “Salley, you can go home. And don’t worry about detention tomorrow night.”
So I put on my boots and jacket and hat and walked right past Purr-Cilla as I left. She wouldn’t look me in the eye, but I think she knows: she’s in trouble!
Purr-cilla’s in trouble!
I agree!! Let’s hear the “rest of the story!!” Maybe the detention needs to be given to the person who gets us all interested in what’s going to happen next and then leaves us all just HANGING!!!
What ever happened to Purr-cilla after Mrs Cowline saw her outside playing?
Yes, please continue this, I’d like to hear the end of this story too.
So . . . what happens next ? I’m curious about what happens to Purr-cilla for lying to get out of detention. And what happens between her and Sally . . .
Please continue this story line. It’s entertaining.
Hoping to read the rest of the story soon. Can’t wait see what happens to Purr-cilla. Why the suspense??
