Science Camp Experiment: Slime

Dear Sparky

How is your summer going? I hope that working in the Curio Shop hasn’t been too tough. I know you weren’t really looking forward to it.

Science camp has been absolutely AMAZING!!! Alex and I are having so much fun and we have made some new friends too!  We have been doing so many cool experiments here. Just yesterday we made this really weird ‘slime’ stuff.

It’s really easy so I thought I’d share it with you and maybe that would give you something fun to do when you’re not working.

What you need:

- 1/4 cup water

- 1/4 cup white glue

- 1/4 cup liquid starch (you can find it with the laundry detergents in the supermarket)

- Food coloring

- an adult assistant, like your Uncle Arte

What you do:

Mix the water and glue in a large bowl and add food coloring until you get it just the shade you like. Slowly stir in the liquid starch until you get a gooey slime.

You can store it in a sealed plastic bag when you’re not playing with it (but it is awesome to play with!)

I hope you get a break so you can try this out. It’s really cool!

See ya!

Booger
