Here are some fun games to make sure your slumber is not a yawn!

Sleeping Beauty

-          One guest lies down on top of their sleeping bag with their eyes closed. Without touching them, the other guests take turns trying to make ‘Sleeping Beauty’ crack a smile, by telling jokes, singing songs and acting silly. If Sleeping Beauty can hold her composure for one full minute, she wins.

Pillow talk

-          In this horizontal version of ‘telephone’, have all the guests line up their sleeping bags and pillows side by side. The first one in the line whispers a phrase into the ear of the one lying next to them. That guest rolls over and repeats the phrase in a whisper to the next guest. Keep going along the line until you reach the end, then have the last guest announce out loud what they heard and compare it with the original message.

Circle laugh

-          Have all the guests lie in a circle with their heads on each others’ stomachs. Try not to laugh, and then see what happens when you do!

Pigs in a Blanket

-          Have one guest who is ‘IT’ leave the room. Each of the other guests hide inside sleeping bags. When the guest who is ‘IT’ comes back, they sit down on the guests who are hiding and the one being sat upon oinks like a pig. If the person who is ‘IT’ can guess who they’re sitting on, they win. They keep going around the room until they guess correctly, then it is someone else’s turn.

Sleeping Bag Races

-          Have each guest stand in their sleeping bag at one end of the room. Whoever can wriggle their way across the room first wins!

Most of them sound weird…The only one I’ve ever played was Pillow Talk at my birthday, but we thought we were just playing Telephone…

      i have another one.
find the leader – this works best with more people
have one person go out of sight for a while. you and the rest of your friends sit in a circle and decide who’s the leader. when youve decided the leader, call back the other person. the leader has to do something – clap, snap fingers, wiggle their feet – etc. everyone else has to pay attention to the leader and do what they do. the person who was sent away in the beginning has to try and find out who the leader is. :D
