Uh oh. It’s Sparky and today is not my day. I just got my math test back and it was not good. I flunked it! I can’t believe it! I’m usually pretty good at math, so I just didn’t think I needed to bother studying. Also, I have got a lot of stuff to do. I mean, I’ve got to earn some money right now so I can get Uncle Arte a really awesome gift. I don’t even know why Ms. Cowoline is giving us tests in December. Doesn’t she know that nobody is thinking about school right now? Christmas is coming! Of course, it didn’t help that Alex got an A+ on his test. Not that he would ever brag about it or anything but I saw it when Ms. Cowoline handed it back to him.
I don’t know what to do. I have to go help out at the Curio Shop tomorrow, but if Uncle Arte finds out about my test he is not going to be pleased. I think I’ll just shove it in the bottom of my backpack and forget about it for now. Uncle Arte never has to know.
next time i would suggest studying so that you can get a good grade and you should just go ahead and show arte the grade that you got so you don’t get in trouble any other time if he were to find out about it!
