What you need:
2 cups of dry chow mein noodles
1 cup of chocolate chips
Jellybeans
Cookie sheet lined with wax paper
What you do:
- Have your adult assistant melt the chocolate chips in the microwave (stir often).
- Carefully stir in the chow mein noodles, being careful not to break them.
- Using a spoon, drop blobs of the chocolate-and-noodle mixture onto the cookie sheet.
- Using the back of the spoon, spread the blob out a little so it looks like a nest.
- Drop two or three jellybeans into each ‘nest.’
- Put the pan in the fridge and let the chocolate set.
- Eat up!
Sounds good! Very creative indeed! But… why NOODLES? I don’t like noodles! No offense to all those noodle-lovers… ♥
Not very tasty. I mean, I love Chow Mein Noodles and I love chocolate and I adore jellybeans, but… together? Chocolate Jellybean Noodles? … Not exactly yummy. ~CC~
I agree bookworm. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chocolate is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Your friend Orange Starburst,*
Cool! I might try it. Yum! Chocolate. -bookworm
It says dry chow mein noodles so I do’t THINK you’re supposed to eat it. horsecowgirlup I think I will try your idea with the pretzels!!! ***MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR***
Well- Chocolate Chow Mien sounds weird- but not gross.
Chow mien is really good! but it really would not be good with chocolate! Your true friend, #@#furryhairylion#@#
My cousins used pretzels. Maybe that will help.
That would help horsecowgirlup! Pretzels are much tastier than noodles! ;) Especially with chocolate. ~~Mockingjay*
ur RIGHT sarahandlacy! :-) ;-) *GO SOFTBALL*
Thanks Softball girl! Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)
Am, I rong? Or does this sound gross? Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)
I know! They certainly don’t sound very appetizing, do they? The *~Webkinz Wizard~* :)
Yeah, they don’t! Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)
My friend made chocolate covered chow mein noodles and called them “haystacks”. I thought they sounded disgusting, but I tried them anyway. I think they are delicious. If you really don’t want to use chow mein noodles, use pretzel sticks.
Thanks for pointing that out 2zaney! Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)
It is Delicious…If you try it (saying you dont have to) Maybe you will like it
Sounds like a cool craft. Not sure I would eat them though. Chow mein noodles and chocolate, hmm… ~~Mockingjay*
Interesting! Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)
My aunt does this, except she uses mini pretzel sticks and white chocolate
My mum makes these too. But with Shreddies Cereal and chocolate mini eggs, I`ll have to try the pretzel one, I love pretzels :) ~*Sigs*~
cool craft, i agree. but… chow mein noodles and chocolate together? i agree mockingjay, not exactly the best combination ever made. i think they should use something else that’s squiggly like noodles but go well with chocolate. or ignore the chocolate and have it noodle-colored nests! lol!
Im a huge fan of chow mein and I love chocolate, but Some foods mixed together dont go well. You can either mix something sweet or something salty, not both. (except for chocolate and pretzels) ;) ~KK♥
