Ella McWoof here with a follow up to our original article, detailing the Valentine’s plans of several Kinzville residents. As you probably remember, one of the residents had a brilliant (and very romantic) dinner in mind. And now I can tell you who that someone is! It’s Sir Rhineholt! And tonight, under a starry sky, he proposed to our very own Plumpy Hippo.
And guess what?
She said yes!
Plumpy called me as soon as she got back home and told me the story.
“It was so lovely,” she said, sounding positively giddy. “Charles prepared a beautiful dinner for me. Vegetarian lasagna, Stubbly Grass Nibbles, and a big glass of chocolate milk – my favorites! Then he brought out the most gorgeous chocolate fudge cake for dessert. That Rhino knows the way to my heart!
After dinner, he suggested that we go for a walk. We ended up right near the Magical Forest. The snow was falling gently, and the Good Fairies were flying through the sky, leaving trails of sparkling pink light behind them. I was so busy staring up at the fairies, that I didn’t notice Charles getting down on one knee. When I looked back, there he was. He held out a gorgeous diamond and blue sapphire bracelet and asked if I’d marry him. I couldn’t speak for a moment! Finally, I found my voice and I squeaked out a delighted ‘yes’! He slipped the bracelet onto my wrist and I couldn’t help myself from squealing a little. It’s a really, really nice bracelet.
Anyway, we practically ran home to tell Nibbles and Wiggles the good news. Wiggles jumped up and down and hugged us both. Nibbles looked pretty – surprised, I guess. I couldn’t wait to call all my friends and relatives! And Charles made sure that I gave you a call, Ella, so everyone knew the identity of the mystery Valentine.”
So wedding bells are in Plumpy’s future – but when? I’ll be sure to keep you informed, dear readers! Until then, happy Valentine’s Day!
