Cute theme! That said, the rest of my comment isn’t exactly on subject, and I hope it’s not too personal to get posted. Today is one of my sons birthday. I love the man he has become. However, I would enjoy having my very creative, little boy back (if only for a short time) to play in Webkinz World! He would have loved plushies. He had a Pound Puppy, an A.G. Bear (remember those?) and one of the original Cabbage Patch Kids! Obviously, Webkinz wasn’t around back then, nor 42 years ago when another son of mine would have LOVED WEBKINZ. Now, I do play Webkinz from across town with his teen-age daughter! We love it! ***** Parents and Grandparents, think of the opportunities we have today with Webkinz! I am so grateful to have this connection with my Granddaughter, in an age where I’m very fortunate to have ANYTHING in common with her!! LOL >{^;^}<

Webkinz isn’t just fun, it’s very NOSTALGIC! I still have my son’s very first Webkinz Lion “DandeLion” that he took everywhere with us on trips, etc. way back then…I still maintain his account after all this time, LOL! So that being said, I think the WW realm has evolved that we don’t have to have EVERYTHING in the Estore or WShop (if we can’t afford it, and there are just countless items now at this point) or every prize…it’s sort of like life, make do with what you have and if you can get some cool items from Estore, make it work with what you already have…I think that is what Michael W. is trying to portray in the Let’s Build showcases of rooms.

    • 1Emerald1 says:

You are so not alone. I still maintain both my daughter & my son’s old accounts tho he’s now in high school & she’s away at college. What I wouldn’t give for a precious grand child some day to play Webkinz with! What I wouldn’t give for just one more ordinary day with my own kids, back in 2007 when this all began.

      • EmeraldCity says:

Me too! LOL! They help me with WW challenges sometimes if I ask them because they’re way better at some of the games than me, they get a kick out of it to see I still play almost every day. They’re like wow they made so many changes since we played, ha ha…I’m like yeah look at this look at that, remember this, etc.

    • tinygma says:

I first played with my grandson and later a grand daughter. I have hundred or more pets they don;t play any more. I still keep the accounts for their children some day they are 16 and 15 , My sons are in their 4o’s They come and play with me just for fun to visit they are hundreds of miles away . We meet in the tradeing room to share items ans talk. This can be fun for familys. I saw the end of WEBKINS FACEBOOK. I tucked each pet in bed as they pixeled into twilight . I paid for Moonberry plants I was not allowed to bring here. I just don’t want anyone to live that it was real sad night. WEBKINZ needs to make money but I hope greed will not take over and someday these new themes in the EStore will become WShop themes in the future. GOOD LUCK ! MERRY CHRISTMAS and a SAFE and HAPPY MEW YEAR TO ALL !! With all my HEART <3 !! GB

      • puppies4me says:

Aww. I don’t know what Webkinz Facebook was or what happened, but that sounds sooo sad. As you put it, “I tucked each pet in bed as they pixeled into twilight” brings tears to my eyes. I’m so sorry that happened tinygma. :’-(

Whether it’s this eStore room theme or another, why do we have to pay 17,500 eStore points for “Mystery” bags to TRY to complete a room? (#1). We have to BUY the eStore points. (#2). We have to spend them on something that WE DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT WE ARE GETTING! (Hmmm. Do we go to a real-life store and pay for a concealed item, wondering if it will be what we need or if it’s going to be something we don’t want at all?) And it only get’s worse. (#3). If, at this fictional real-life store, I buy into that marketing scheme and I get a product I don’t want instead of the one I really need, I CAN’T RETURN IT OR EXCHANGE IT at that store! Really? :-[ I was sooo disappointed to see that I would have to spend 17,500 eStore points to buy stocking(S!), with chances of completing my Sugar & Spice Room that I had already started! WHAT? That’s a lot of points to be throwing around! No items in that theme cost any where close to that many eStore points. In fact, if you buy the room theme items on Deluxe Wednesdays, you can get a discount on those items AND you know what you’re getting! So, since we have to purchase the points with REAL CASH, not Kinzcash that we could earn having fun on our Webkinz World accounts, why can’t we buy the eStore room themes items we want? Mystery bags could then be bought with Kinzcash in the WShop, and contain all kinds of special items that don’t directly contribute to a room theme, but instead are special holiday items, decorations, clothes, with Grand Prizes of Retired Decorations and Clothes!
    >{^;^}<

    • 1Emerald1 says:

I agree with everything you said about the Mystery whatevers. I have purchased a few of those “surprise” things in the past & didn’t get what I hoped for, so decided not to buy them any more since, like you, I want to know what I’m paying for. It is too bad that we can’t complete estore sets now without buying mystery bags. They think this will boost sales? For my part, it just discourages me from buying the estore theme altogether since I’d probably never be able to finish it.

  3. BlackBeauty says:

OMGosh! This room theme is adorable! Sadly I know I will not get this though…. Ah, hopefully it comes back next year so u have some Estore points to get it….

  4. TwinnDoll says:

Very cute theme, I really like the room divider and rug.

  5. EmeraldCity says:

Cute and has whimsy. I like the dividers and the window best.

    • puppies4me says:

EmeraldCity, I hope you get them! (I’m not spending 17,500 eStore points multiple times, trying to complete my Sugar and Spice Room.) Good Luck. I also hope we get to see your completed room. You always do a GREAT job!

      • EmeraldCity says:

Oh thanks so much puppies4me! I know how you mean, I think ES points are well spent on your faves and/or combining ES items with other stuff you have or just pick one theme and do it well. I LOVE the Sugar and Spice Theme! Have fun building your room, it will look awesome! I build when I can or when it’s quiet and I can focus…some rooms as you know take hours to make! :D

        • puppies4me says:

LOL. EmeraldCity, most of my rooms I’m happy with when they are completed, actually take me days to build. I buy new pets and new room themes in season, but don’t always have the time to get creative. The past couple months have been so busy and time just flew by. My new Halloween pets are still having a Trick-or-Treat Slumber party on cool Halloween beds, together in one room! And I have several storage rooms full of items to build nice rooms for them. I have that “pencilled in” for my most dull month, February! That gives me something to look forward to while they are “nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of spooky things dance in their heads!” I do have to say, I really had fun getting the whole Victorian Christmas Theme at 40% off last month and building that beautiful room! And I’m excited about the prizes from the Candy Cane Collection. Very pretty and animated!

  6. bubbashuka says:

I wish this theme was in the Wshop… Not many new themes come out in the Wshop. But there are a ton for estore points… Why is that?? Some people, like me, can’t afford to buy lots of Estore points!!

    • THESHIRE says:

The W Shop should be renamed to the E points Shop

    • Natsume45 says:

I agree, I wish it would go back to the original days of Webkinz where everything was free and fun and just adopting a pet gave you the best of everything.

      • Matoaca113 says:

Yes! I loved that a pet a year unlocked everything free to play back in the day! I wish that would come back. Maybe if Ganz did not put so much resources into developing new estore items, then it would not have to charge so much for deluxe memberships or estore items. It seems like there is always a new estore theme coming out, but new wshop themes rarely come out. Look at the wshop Christmas themes this year…repeated again, even with items taken away from the theme. :(

      • alucard says:

I agree with you, Natsume45. I miss the days when being a Deluxe Member or having lots of E points, wasn’t thrown in your face like it is now. I know this is an imaginary world, but why does it have to mirror the “real” world, where there is rich (who can afford anything they want), and those that are poor, or on a budget, can’t. I don’t like being made to feel bad because I don’t have a Deluxe Membership or a ton on E points. And why do the really new and pretty room themes have to be just for them and not everyone? They have even taken some items that were once “free” for all Webkinz players to buy, and are not just for E points or Deluxe only. That is so not fair! Makes me so sad. And, yet I still play Webkinz, hoping that someday it WILL be fair for all.

    • Jackieeh says:

Not only that, but you have to buy the Christmas Stockings for a chance to get some of this theme also, which makes it even more expensive.

    • dinosaurtracker13 says:

It can be frustrating, but if Webkinz hadn’t invented new ways to make money like this they probably wouldn’t still be here. More than half the virtual worlds I’ve ever been part of quit years ago. They were fun because everything in them was free, but the reason they were so short lived was probably because they didn’t have their own equivalent of the Webkinz eStore to bring in more money. So, keeping in mind that it extends the longevity of Webkinz, I’ve learned to accept the eStore.

      • animalsmatter1 says:

dinosaurtracker13—your point is excellent, valid, and so well stated!!! And I happen to agree with you. The sticky situation is–companies need to earn money to stay in business to keep their customers happy. (It’s a drag, right?!!) But that’s the way it works. I commend Ganz for keeping WW (and their other games) going, better than ever, in fact, and I suspect it’s because they understand they do need generate revenue—–making money helps to pay for all the talented designers, artists, and all the people behind the scenes that we don’t even know about, who work hard to keep the Ganz games up and running for us. I don’t think they could have kept WW going for twelve wonderful years if they did not figure out ways to generate income to help pay all their wonderful employees, who keep WW so fun and magical for all of us fans. My E-Store advice: First: always check for sales! Ganz offers great sales, but one needs to check all the time, because the E-Store Page is constantly updating and changing things, and offering all kinds of deals. Second: E-Store points, and Deluxe Memberships are awesome holiday and birthday gifts! (So, heck, put it on your list, and you never know…someone might get you one!) And finally: in the words of the wise dinosaurtracker13: “learn to accept the e-store”! It’s great advice: because none of us have such unlimited resources that we can afford to buy everything we want…..so……much like real life: we gotta accept it!

      • alucard says:

You make a good point, dinosaurtracker13, but having to buy a new pet once a year use to be the best way for most players to continue playing the game. Then they stopped selling the pets in stores. I use to could find pets, trading cards, E point cards, bookmarks, clothes for the pets, and more. Now, you seldom find any of that. I had let my account go for awhile due to not being able to find new pets. Then, one day in a Dollar Store, I found some pets and bought 10 of them, so I can continue to play for awhile (I have 3 accounts, so I won’t really be able to play that long). If Ganz had kept Webkinz products out there for people to buy, then I think we wouldn’t have this issue with everything good being Deluxe or E Store only. I just think Ganz needs to remember that not everyone buys stuff online. I think they could do better for us. Just my opinion.

        • Sally Webkinz says:

Ganz is a wholesaler, not a retailer. Retail shops have to order Ganz products to stock them — if they don’t order them, we can’t make them stock it.

        • tinygma says:

EStore has pets for $5.99 thats a very good price to keep accounts going. I would look WALMART.COM and Amazon ,WEGMANS and 5BELOW also have pets. 5BELOW they are $5.00 per pet not really much different then the EStore so I do the EStore. to save me a bus ride to the store better choice here also . I would so much like the SWASHBUCKLER and the Fraidy Cat Lion .

    • BlackBeauty says:

IKR? It is so much that’s why I put that I can’t buy it…. But it is so cute!

      • bubbashuka says:

To all the people who agreed, I know right! And dinotracker, I actually never thought of that! Well, they got 32 dollars from me @ black friday time. xD

        • animalsmatter1 says:

bubbashuka–lol!!! Oh my gosh—SO sweet! Your reply really made me smile, about Ganz getting $32.00 from you at Black Friday time! Good for you, my friend! You got something you wanted, and indeed, they got “$32.00″ from you! I did my part too: On Black Friday, I went a little wild with my own (Ganz) purchases, but it’s all good: I had a lot of fun and I was thrilled to get items I had coveted on sale! (I LOVE a good sale!)

  7. tinygma says:

AGAIN I am asking it would REALLY make it worth buying if you would bring back the older Boy/Girl Elf costumes !

  8. Alphaowlbear says:

I would just like to know – WHERE did Santakinz find all those elf legs and feet to make all the table legs and lamp stands?

  9. simonpeter says:

cool. Just wish more stuff on Wstore. I’d be willing to pay more wstore kinzcash for stuff to get neat stuff like estore has.
