I am having problems with the Narwhal challenge. Playing only in the afternoon, and only once per day, it keeps telling me campaign expired when I get the fifth one. I don’t get the prize awarded to my dock. This has happened 4 times over the last week. Is anyone else having this problem?
Hi machaela – Time is very important when you play Peek a Newz. Ganz resets the Newz day at 7 pm Kinztime. That means if you play at 7:15pm one day and play again at 6:45pm the next day, you will get the expired notice because the WKN day has not reset yet, even though those two times are just a half hour apart. It can get very confusing. I don’t know the time zone you are in, but perhaps the day reset time is during your afternoon while you are trying to complete Peek a Newz. My advice is to find out when 7pm Kinztime is in your actual time (for example, it would be 4pm in Pacific Time Zone) and then always play on one side or the other of that specific time. I hope this all makes sense – Best Wishes!
Here’s an easy way to check if you have waited long enough for the prizes to reset–log into Newz and click on any page. Now watch the lower right corner of the page to see if you get the message “you have earned 1 Moneyz” or if you see the message that you have already earned 500 Moneyz for the day. If the counter has reset, you should be able to complete the Peek-a-Newz and receive the prize. If you still get the “campaign expired” message, just go back to another page and look for another Narwhal. Click on the next one you find, and it should work. I’ve had this happen a few times, but every time (so far) I find the host a “sixth” time, it works. Don’t give up, good luck!
