Been saving Sawyer for one ever since I managed to misname my original one. So glad to finally be adding a Sawyer to my webkinz family!
I can never resist an opportunity to help with names because I love finding out what different names mean. I don’t have anything that’s as good as Sawyer that Hyperborea2 suggested. The name means ‘wood cutter’ for goodness sake! Some of the names that I found are: Beverly (from the beaver meadow), Tayanita (young beaver – Native American), Adahy (lives in the woods – Native American), Carver, Forest, Woody, Culley (dwells in the woodland), and Keeley (wood). I am sure that you will enjoy the new addition to your webbie family whatever you name him or her!
Biba (bee-bah) is beaver in Japanese, and Amik is beaver in Ojibwa. I think either of those would be a cool name.
Since the Beaver is the national animal of Canada and some of us are adopting on Canada Day, maybe a truly Canadian name would be appropriate. I was thinking Canada or Britannia or Canuck. I named my first beaver Canuck but now I can’t figure out which account she is… thought she could be mom to Li’l Canada.
