  Oreobigboy, I have done some western around barrels, but i wasn’t really into it. Now i’m English. Horse jumping over a chicken is kinda funny, but a little scary. lol~dapplegreyhorse

  I guess I’m the only one who rides Western here. I love Western riding! Have any of you ever jumped over something by mistake? I was doing my barrel pattern at a full canter (arena isn’t big enough to gallop in) and all of a sudden right when I turned the last barrel, there was a chicken. Usually one of the horses I ride, Frances, just runs over them, but instead she just jumps over the chicken! I know she is a jumper but still I was kinda surprised cause she’s SUPER lazy on barrels.
