Ummm. . .None of the TV’s works correctly. I believe Ganz has seriously underestimated the potential gold-mine hidden within the idea of our WebKinz’ TV’s. For instance, for “free” members’ pets you could make TV’s at least play those stupid, otherwise-intrusive, annoying video ads, which would at least be entertainment — of a sort — and at very least better than nothing. If you vetted and monitored the content you could make them the only place that “ads off” didn’t apply — since the player was knowingly, deliberately electing to watch one. To ultimately preserve the option parents could otherwise select to prevent their player from purchasing TV’s. You could make more Kinzcash-purchasable options for room-theme-adaptable TV’s and more show options. EVERY player would want their pet(s) to have the chance to watch TV, thus more pressure on parents to ‘allow’ these ‘elite-level’ ads. If you attract enough such advertisers and if they made the ads entertaining or interesting enough you could put them at the beginning of each WebKinz show segment. Then there would be no sense of inconvenience, we would even select them deliberately, and people would WANT to watch them — especially if new ones arrived on

Please, Ganz, I believe I deserve to see ALL my pets on the My Pets roster. For the last few days, my roster is only showing me 95 of my 794 pets (plus Hamsters). I have played as a WW Deluxe member since June of 2010, and My Pets roster has ALWAYS displayed all of my pets. Traditionally, I would go to the pet that has not been played in the longest amount of time. The good thing with the new roster was that it wasn’t taking as long a time to go through them as it did before. Then a couple days ago I was trying to search if I already had the cocoa/chocolate lab (if not I was going to buy one), and my roster only showed me 95 pets! I wrote to WebKinz Support about it, and I got back a reply saying they have looked into my account and it is working properly. They added that they understand my concern and it’s been sent to “the appropriate department.” I’m so confused by this cryptic response. What do you think that answer means? It could mean, “Sorry, after 6 years of enjoying your money and loyalty, we’ve decided you only deserve to see a very small percentage (11%) of the pets you bought.” Or perhaps, “We’ve looked into your account, but we see that it’s showing you all 95 of your 95 pets.” Or maybe, “We find no malfunction on our check of your account, and yes, you should still be able to see all 794 pets.” Or even possibly, “Just be a good girl, play quietly, and don’t bug WebKinz support.” Clearly, each possiblity would need a very different response. I know I’m not the only player in WW with more than 95 pets; so if this was an intentional change, it royally stinks — especially considering that someone who has played Deluxe for >6 years and has over 95 pets has paid Ganz over $1500 (U.S.) in pet purchases and membership fees alone. That number for me is >$12,000, not to mention dollars spent in the Ganz eStore and WShop. I’ve also spent countless enjoyable hours in WW and really want to remain a loyal Deluxe member. Fairness, honesty and clear communication are key to all good relationships. Thus, my suggestion is to please show me all of my pets, and please give me a clear and forthright answer. And if this is the wrong place to put this, I’m sorry. I’m just feeling a bit “blown off” by the answer I got, and I don’t know any way to take my issue any farther.

I don’t know how to start a topic, so I had to reply instead, sorry. I like the new “Pick Me!” roster of pets, especially searching for pets by name, but I still also want to be able to tell when my pets last played. I’ve been a Deluxe member since 2010 and have 775 pets, so I don’t want to accidentally leave one too long without getting their turn to play! I LOVE MY WEBKINZ!!! Also I would like to be able to have pet specific foods separate from the regular foods in the WShop. I used to love cooking, but I don’t get the chance much any more. As my list of pets has gotten longer it’s such a hassle to click my way past all those hundreds of pet specific foods! Please consider giving the PSF’s and the groceries their own separate sections!? — RornDoone

Please Ganz, I’m begging you, give me back my pets! I loved them, all 729 of them. Now you’ve changed them all into whiny, demanding, hateful BRATS! “New look, same pets,” right?? But not true! I want my old pets back, the way they were when they loved me. I play WebKinz to create a break where I can relax. Now I’m just finding new demands from what used to be a safe-feeling space. Playing WebKinz used to be something I looked forward to. I was there every day I could manage. I’ve slacked off since X came. I don’t get a good feeling when I play any more. I can tell you that, in the 5 years I’ve been playing AS A DELUXE MEMBER, I’ve spent $$$ tens-of-thousands $$$ in the eStore or eStore items on W Shop. I feel robbed, cheated, abandoned, rejected and lied to. There’s no more joy. I keep coming back, reluctantly, to see if things will get better, but there’s no joy. I quit within minutes, feeling sad, angry, discouraged, defeated, helpless and hopeless. I’m literally crying and grieving — did you intend to do that to millions of people? I’ve lost ALL of my best little buddies, and now may never see them again!!! It’s like they died. They’re different pets, not my true ones! Please, I didn’t do anything wrong. I just want them back. I want them to be like they used to be when they accepted and loved me just ‘cuz I was ME and I came to see them! I want WebKinz to be a safe space to come to, again! It was my only place in the whole world I could truly feel safe! Now I never know what’s going to happen. I try to get my pet what it wants, and it doesn’t KNOW I’ve played the game or bought the item or fed them — in fact, sometimes I feed them and the meter goes DOWN instead of up! Then they frown at me like they hate me. It used to be unconditional love. Now I can’t even do what I enjoy, because it’s always interrupted by a demand with a three minute timer, like a parent counting up to a threat. And I HATE it when they tell me to buy something, cuz I know my REAL pets wouldn’t do that!!! Please, please, PLEASE, can you put them back? Please. I’m really, truly begging with blurry tears — I need my pets. I don’t want them to be gone. I want to feel loved and wanted by them again. Please listen. Please help. Please. Please.
