Back to School Contest Winners

Congratulations to Haley, Jack, Courtney, Belle and Sara. They’ve each won an eStore exclusive Floating School Desk. We wanted to hear about your best day at school, ever. Read the winning entries below: The best day of school for me was this one day when all my teachers planned a special day for all of the kids in my grade. All we did that day was play games, watch movies, and hang out with friends. Our teachers didn’t even give us homework!!! Our teachers had some fun too! While we watched movies, they went into another classroom and just talked. Then after the movies, it was lunch time so the teachers let all of the students eat lunch in the classroom with all of our friends. Also, since it was a very hot day out, we all went outside, and everybody got to drink a nice, cold glass of lemonade. After the day ended, as soon as we left the classroom, we all got to have ice cream sundaes. We got to make them ourselves!! That day was the best school day ever! I will never forget it!! – Haley The best day ever in school for me was going … Read more

Nibbles Catches a Cold

Nibbles

Ugggggh! It’s me, Nibbles. Or should I say ‘Sniffles?’ The other day on my way home, it started pouring down with rain and I had left my jacket in my locker at school. I got soaked! As soon as I got home, Plumpy ran me a hot bath and I got out of my wet clothes, but when I woke up the next morning I was all stuffed up. Now I’m lying in bed, eating chicken soup, and going through about a million tissues a day. I feel awful. My head hurts and my nose is running like a faucet. It wouldn’t be so bad, but Molly’s Pink Party is in two days! What if I’m not better by then? I told Plumpy that I was going to the party no matter what, but she said that if I’m still sick, that wouldn’t be fair to everyone else because I could pass my germs onto them. I guess she has a point, but – IT’S NOT FAIR! Oh, I really hope I’m feeling better by then. Plumpy said all I can do is drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest. I’ve gotta go. I think I’ll … Read more

If using spray paint, paint planter and stick and let dry. (Get an adult assistant to help with this). 2. Pour sand or gravel into planter and insert stick so it stands up straight. 3. Tie long bits of ribbon onto the base of each balloon and tie all balloons together into one large bunch. 4. With a ribbon, affix the bunch of balloons to the top of the stick. Voila! Summer Vacation Contest Winners

Congratulations to Peyton, Zane, Mayowa, Pooja and Rebekah! They’ve each been awarded an eStore exclusive Beat the Heat Hammock. We wanted to know where the best place to go on vacation was.  Read the winning entries below: My best summer vacation would be a few weeks in Great Britain. It is my dream to visit England. England has old houses and palaces and beautifully sculptured gardens. It also has Queen Elizabeth who I might be lucky and see in person. England has old towers, old bridges, old cobble stone streets, Big Ben and other old, old things. I would feel like I was in one of the classic novels like Wuthering Heights or The Tale of Two Cities. England has some interesting foods. I could have some real Fish and Chips. England would definitely be educational and in England I would feel comfortable because English is spoken there. So, I would be able to read and write and understand everything. Wish I was there. That is my dream. – Peyton The best summer vacation ever would be a week trip around the world with all my Webkinz. We would go to Europe, Australia, Antarctica, China, Japan, Canada, and Hawaii. Summer in the Sun Contest

Congratulations to Morgan, April, Sarah, Ray and Kali! They’ve each been awarded a Lazy River Ride. We wanted to know where the sun would go on vacation — and here are the winning entries! I think the sun like to retire from always being soo hot and would love go to somewhere freezing cold for a change like ANTARTICA!! He could build icy igloos and he could build huge snow balls so if the mean snow monster attacked him he could throw snowballs at him, and he would leave the sun alone for a while. The sun would like to build a snowman to keep him company. The sun would be a very good friend to all the penguins, seals, and polar bears and all the other animals. He would like to make snow angels. He would make tasty snow ice cream and it would be his new favorite food. He would never be cold, so there would never be any need for a warm coat and he could lay out outside his igloo. But since he’s one billion degrees he would melt all of Antarctica and there would never be any snow. So he can’t live in Antarctica. He … Read more
